Jan 25, 2025 we enjoyed a wonderful meal of the two daily specials: lobster ravioli and Mahi Mahi with shrimp in curry. Both meals were excellent. The service was at its usual very high level. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. Thanks Fin's for yet another enjoyable experience.

I like Fins. I’ve been dozens of times over the past few years. It’s a favorite spot for many locals and repeat snow birds. Drinks flow, the patrons are exceedingly friendly, helpful, and generally jolly. When we find ourselves in that part of town and want a quick bite, we are likely to swing by.

That being said, there’s not much more to it than local color, average dive bar food in large portions, and thankfully smoking allowed at the outside bar and dining area.

The burgers, fish sandwiches, flatbread pizzas, and surprisingly good meatball appetizer are my menu recommendations.

On the down side, if you’re not a regular you will be second class at the outside bar, especially if the older bar maids are on duty.

On the up side, they usually have talented musicians playing outside in the evening, drowning out a lot of the road noise from Del Prado.

In conclusion, I struggle to give Fins more than a ⭐️⭐️ rating based on my rating criteria, but I’m going to go ahead and give it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating based on it’s legendary local status.

Great place to eat with open-air Tiki hut dining as well as in door bar and dining. The menu items are more chef inspired than just bar food. From sandwiches and nachos to steaks and seafood offerings including signature and specialty offerings such as Ahi Tuna, bacon wrapped shrimp, muscles, clams, lobster bisque, key west cheesy Alfredo tortellini, seafood paella and so much more. Just driving down Del Prado Blvd, you might not even give it a 2nd look, but don't pass this one by.

What a terrible experience . We were there yesterday for a friend birthday, he ordered a crab cake meal, wasn’t bad but very dry, I order stuff flounder, once I lift a piece of the fish it was so undercooked, send it back, then the manager came and said the fish wasn’t undercooked and what I saw was the mayonnaise and they would make a new one, I told her don’t make another one just cook mine a little longer, she insisted the fish was ok, I told her that the color was that opaque not white , I know because I cook a lot fish. So I got my meal when my friend was done eating and then he had to sit there waiting for me to eat my food. Not fun….. to finish it up I only got one fillet, not two like it said on the menu and that’s what I got the first time, also very greasy. Told the server about only getting one piece of fish and that we picked that place for is birthday and she said I’m sorry and walk away . Never again. This place used to be very good, not anymore.

$26 Seafood basket 1/4 fillet cod 4shrimp 2 scallops 1 tablespoon cocktail sauce, four 1/2 inch slices of plantains for $5, bowl of soup the size of most others cup … server took our empty app plates, came back 9 minutes later to take our order…. Manager bad attitude… food tastes as good as anybody, no complaints … good atmosphere…. Horrible service and portions

The only reason I didn't give one star is because the food was decent. I ordered the seafood basket. The description said "heaping" basket and there was nothing "heaping" about it. Complete rip off for the price. I finished my cup of water fairly quickly and was never offered a refill. Automatic 20% gratuity and 3% charge if you pay credit. I will never come back here.

Was there for dinner and the stuffed flounder my wife had she said was great! The real star of the night was “Lynnie” who was playing one fantastic song after another and had the whole place singing. You have to check him out if you get a chance???

Personable family owned and operated and you can tell.
