Was there 2 years straight. Not impressed with the unfriendliness of the bar maid. Both years. Same person. Too many other places.

I don't typically write negative reviews and my review will not all be negative. I loved the food it was delicious all the way around. All three entrees that we ordered were brought out promptly and hot. My issue is with the service. Our server Brenda came up and announced as we walked through the door that they closed at 8 and it was only 7. We were out of there by 7:50. The website we found did say 9:00. She did not seat us. Rather she pointed to a booth and said sit there. She did not introduce herself and was quite rude throughout the experience. She never offered any refills for drinks and mind you we were having a few of their alcoholic drinks. The only way I found out her name was by carefully reading the check and finding it at the top. To be honest I hope to come back but find myself with a different server down the road.

FRD is one of our favorites! It’s locally owned by a veteran who does a lot for our beloved first responders and military servicemen and women. FRD has awesome food and drinks, daily house-made specials that are delicious and affordable, and their service is top notch. They’re located on a canal so you can arrive by boat or car. The outdoor patio has a nice canal view if you prefer to sit outside. Oh, and they’re a great place to watch sports; they have a ton of TVs! Get there!

I found FRD completely by accident. It is almost a hidden treasure! Small and locally owned, my favorite to support!
The staff is fun, courteous and on top of it! The food is great, especially the wings and onion rings! I’ve dined inside and on the deck. Deck seating is a little tight, however, the view of the canal is ? worth it!
Looking forward to going back and trying something new.

I was welcomed in and sat at the bar. Got a beer promptly and ordered the bang bang shrimp. Had a great conversation with another patron. I will be back
