Update- the owner himself called me to discuss the issues. Not sure why it was such an off night but asked us to give it another try and we will. Hope our reliable Goldys is still there. This is my second review but it’s been over a year. And what a difference a year makes!!!! Our first visit was amazing! Sadly, the only thing positive about dinner tonight with out of town family, was Anthony our server. Food was tasteless, no pepper in the famously peppered breading. Canned green beans were mush. The music was ridiculously loud so we moved outside where we were inundated with cigarette smoke.Sorry to say, We will not be back until we hear that old family recipe is back. But once again, you got a true winner in Anthony. Thank you for your time.

We have gone to Goldy’s since they opened fairly often. Often enough the owner recognizes us and thanks us for coming back.We went the other day and our table was right next to where the owner and his wife were watching the band. We sat there for close to 20 minutes without anyone taking a drink order or bringing menus. We asked the bartender for help and she said she would send someone right over, but that never happened. The owner continued to get drinks delivered to his table.We finally walked out and went somewhere else. So sad for a small, fairly new business to ignore patrons, especially when the restaurant was not crowded.

We went for the first time and our meals we excellent. I had the fried chicken and it was perfect. Spicy, crispy and juicy. Served with a fabulous honey. My very selective husband had the chicken bites and fries and he said it was great. I look forward to going back. Nice people, great service and fair pricing.

Girlfriend and I went there for a late lunch yesterday Monday 3/14. We both got fried chicken. She got 2 piece and I got 4 piece. The seasoning was kinda boring the chicken was the greasiest fried chicken I've ever had. I couldn't finish my meal. There was literally a puddle of grease in the basket when I called it quits. Publix makes better fried chicken than what I had at Goldy's.

Had a very good time with very good service, everyone here very friendly. Love the music selection and a few Irish ☘️ drinks!

We chose takeout. The Chicken was way overcooked and dried out and chewy. Mashed potatoes and gravy came in the same container and not all of my family will eat gravy. The coleslaw had no flavor. The Pretzel bites were also way overdone and chewy and on the verge of burnt. This was a complete waste of my money. I had to throw it all out and we ate cereal for supper. I would not recommend this place.

Apparently Chicken is now an Endangered species.Service is great, Nice Peoplewife and i went in for wings, We love Wings and go everywhere for them6 wings $12,95 well i don't like paying $1 per wing never mind $2I know Covid has changed the world and the supply chain but i mile down the road i had 10 FLATS- we asked for all flats and got 20 of them.(UNBELIEVABLE) Actually the largest flats i have ever had (and have had a lot)$8.95 for TEN 10!!!!!!!! Flats and tasted greatI don't want to share the location as it is always to crowded. NO Wonder

The chicken was good and very tender with fresh tasting batter on the chicken. The wait staff was very slow and failed to return often, and when they did, didn't refill or ask for drinks. Covid times, I don't really knock them hard on that...Within an hour of getting home the other half was puking (We believe the salad)

The chicken was disturbingly raw and we were neglected by wait staff the majority of the night.

Goldys Chicken……so the chicken should be the primary focus. It’s not, this is a bar and their focus is on the alcohol sales. I have never seen a place mess up chicken as bad as this place. Spent 100.00 on chicken that had not an once of ANY seasoning so we literally ate shortening on chicken. Others complained as well why we were there and the crew even said the owner was told a loud the lack of seasoning and complaints. I also see the prior remarks saying it as well….stick to the vodka and cranberry and run over to Publix for chicken.

As a southern girl from South Carolina, I love fried chicken. Go check out Goldy’s Chicken Shack if you haven’t been yet, it opened up earlier this year and, I’m mad we hadn’t been out there yet. It was so good and our service was fantastic! Great prices too! Vicki our server was awesome too!

What a great place. Great atmosphere. Nice cold beer and the food is excellent. Gina and Vicky are back thank God and run the show!!!
