Great food, I had the pow pow shrimp tacos and my husband had a fried platter. It was a lot of food! Live music is great ? and service was amazing. Will return!

I came out to Hooked Island Grill two weeks ago. I saw that the restaurant was brand new and the good reviews curved my decision. I arrived to the restaurant rather late, so I cannot say much for the atmosphere, but I had friends that were there for quite some time. I was told there was a band singing earlier and it was a great atmosphere! I ordered the shrimp tacos (one of my favorite meals) and I was disappointed?. The shrimp had a heavy amount of breading on it and I could barely taste the shrimp. Extra sauce should be added to the shrimp as well. The side dishes were extremely delicious. The fries and corn were perfect. The prices were about average for my meal; I want to say around $14. I would probably come back and order something else, unfortunately. Despite the food, the service was outstanding and the interior decor was awesome!

All you can eat is a snowcrab on Mondays! It was messy and a lot of work, and most of the crab wouldn't come out of the shell. I had to scrape it out with a fork. Dinner is served fries and creamy slaw.

I was hesitant at first due to the new location being in a strip mall lacking the atmosphere I love, but decided to stop in and support one of our businesses that was destroyed by Ian at their location on Matlacha. A location that had just that type of atmosphere I love. I'm glad I decided to do so. Being solo, I chose to sit at the bar and was immediately welcomed by the bartender, Griffin. He was very attentive and sincerely took an interest in my life stories, and the food was fantastic. Was happy to learn that they plan to rebuild the Matlacha location. As a business owner myself, I am so happy to support these businesses that are trying to come back. It's so important to do so and realize that some of these businesses have been displaced and may be trying to recover in other locations needing as much support of the ones that are trying to put themselves together at their original location. I'll have to go back on a Monday for the all you can eat snow crab legs for $40!

Unfortunately, Hooked was devastated by the recent hurricane. It is currently closed and I have not seen signs or updates that it will reopen anytime soon. No work has been done on the place since the hurricane months ago.

Food was out of this world! I had the sushi dog and every bite was a pop of amazing flavors! Such a unique meal! Kyle is a genius with the food names and ideas. The atmosphere of the place is great as well! Can’t wait to come back for more!

Server was 5 star. Food was awful! Burned crust on fish. Street corn was cold canned corn with chilly powder sprinkled on top after plated, missing creme. Risotto was not risotto. It was an attempt at a creamy rice which was also cold. And when I say cold it was colder than room temperature. My asparagus was cold. My island rice was cold. $94 and change for two appetizers to dinners and one drink. Awful!

Amazing restaurant with incredible view basically sitting right on the water you feel as if you're almost sitting on top of the water while you eat. The food is super awesome fresh seafood with great taste and the staff is also very friendly. Can't wait to go back.

This place has the best fried cheese curds around! Go enjoy the view and cheese curds and you won't be disappointed. The menu has recently been redone and expanded and has some hits and misses. My daughter had a burger that was utterly raw inside recently. The "unicorn" fish is something my friends like. Service is excellent - friendly, fast, accurate - although they change staff weekly it seems. Live music is crazy loud and right on top of you - don't plan on having a conversation. 9 out of 10 of the musicians are excellent.
