Went here last night I'm going to say that for me when I go to a restaurant it's about the FOOD not the drinks or the decor. I ordered the Smoked Fish Dip it was there before we got our drinks menu stated it came with Jalapeños ours had one slice in top of the scoop. The dip was good but it was not executed by the kitchen correctly. Next came Clam Chowder again did not fill the cup and it was so thick it was like pudding. Finally the Grouper sandwich filet was large and crunchy Bun was great but why put a tomato slice that does not fit the bun and that is so thin you could see thru it along with a piece of WILTED lettuce. Fries sliced thin looked more like Chinese noodles and some were crunchy and most were not, don't try to make a cool fry just try and make a great fry! It makes no sense to me. So my thought's are Kitchen and Chef need to do better!

We went for a late lunch on Saturday around 3:00pm hoping to find the island flavor that we remember from their prior location in Matlacha. We were disappointed to find a rather dull white square building with a blue roof. Service was good, margaritas were average at best...we expected more for $10 ea. Looking in their menu (to no avail) for the broasted wings we so much enjoyed in Matlacha only to be informed that their "Broaster" was left in the ruins of the old location...so, no chicken wings in their menu! My wife & I enjoyed a cup of their New England Clam Chowder which was the highlight of our visit. Her fried Grouper was OK and my Blackened Mahi with lump crab on top was tasteless and not worth the $28 we paid. The total bill with tip was $107....certainly an expensive and disappointing outing to Cape Coral.

The server told us about the specials for lunch. She never mentioned prices, and we didn't ask we "assumed" that the seafood (meatball) sub would be in the price range of all the other lunch sandwiches. When it was served it tasted like salmon or fish??? And cost $34 which was more than the prices for dinner, and the taste was some unidentified seafood!!! We also ordered a chimichanga with shrimp and black corn chips for crunch, the chips were soggy from being in with the rice and the wrap was thick and tough. Service was really good but they should give prices when explaining the specials. 1 and done, will not be going back.

Had lunch for three at outside bar yesterday. Service was good until I received the bill $34.00 for a lunch special (recommended) by the server meatball sub(seafood meatballs) tasted like Salmon cakes. I did not ask the price before ordering My Fault, but that much for a lunch special sandwich really. Never

This was a wonderful experience in both laughter and dining. An amazing staff that made sure the time we spent there was perfect. The food was great, the drinks were perfect!

Pretty cool atmosphere. Chicken sandwich was good, a little too moist for me though. Fries are thin and crispy (try dipping in ranch and buffalo sauce for extra flare). Also got the chicken egg rolls, they weren't spicy but it comes with sauce that is kinda of spicy but not too much spice at all. Good service. Shirley temples were top tier! Would recommend

Stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday. The interior has ceiling lights that move!! So cool! Service & food were amazing. We had house Margarita & a house Bloody Mary. Excellent. We shared a sushi dog appetizer!! So good! My husband ordered a Cowabunga seafood Chimichanga and I ordered the Pow Pow Shrimp tacos! Fries were good too. Delish & so much food!! Had to take some home.

Just happened to walk in on St. Patrick’s day and were able to get seated immediately. An excellent Irish band was playing, atmosphere very inviting. Our server, Chip, not only took super good care of us, attentive during our meal, he went above and beyond to ensure our visit was the first of many. Will definitely be back and plan to recommend to many friends. We feel we had the luck of the Irish.

No doubt, Hooked will bring competition to the seafood game in south cape. Friendly service and fresh seafood. Looking forward to seeing them grow in a mostly bar/no frills area. The sushi stack is definitely a favorite of mine. Also went in on St Patrick’s day and enjoyed their Irish eggrolls. The chef is capable and when given the opportunity, will surely create some great daily specials! Great drink menu.. check them out and support local!

It has been a while since we went to eat where the place was five stars in ALL aspects of the experience. This place just opened a couple days ago and they are running on all cylinders. We were sat right away and waited on by Michael. He was friendly, attentive and very comfortable in conversation. There was live music which was entertaining and at the right volume. Not too loud but enough that the whole place could enjoy it and still have a conversation. Drinks were outstanding. I had a couple Smoking Clubs and my wife had a couple of the Purple Haze sangrias. Then the food. I had the lobster meatballs with gnocchi and she had the filet with grilled shrimp. Everything cooked perfectly and came out the right temp. This was a great choice for us and we’ll definitely be back.

10/10 service, food, everything. Really a great menu for the area, really solid and good quality food. The dining room is incredible, we got a grouper Rueben and crab stuffed mushrooms, one of the best I've had in swfl. Portion sizes are HUGE and drinks are fairly strong. Definitely recommend and will back!

We enjoyed our dinner this evening from start to finish. The atmosphere was awesome!!! Loved the lights bouncing from the ceiling. Very impressive. Our server, Alyssa was outstanding! She was very pleasant. Suggested certain items on the menu, and an asset to the restaurant. The food was delicious! Definitely 5 star.

Stopped in today for the first time today. Was expecting some new restaurant issues so expectations weren’t super high. They blow it out of the water. Staff were awesome. Food was incredible. Restaurant its self was beautiful well done. Definitely missing hooked in matlacha but I was truly impressed today.

First impression was the trash (empty beer glasses and discarded to go container) on the steps to enter the restaurant. We ordered the Sushi dog. Then 10 minutes later ordered the grouper bites and fries. The grouper bites came out. We asked about the sushi dog and the fries. Then the sushi came out and then she had to go back for the fries. The sushi dog was boring. No flavor and cold.
