Maria's Pizzeria & Restaurant

Local here. I've been coming for years. Love the food and have never had an issue. Ever. Tonight, however, I walk in with my family (party of 5) at 7:57pm. The server/hostess with the nose ring was SO unwelcoming. Her vibe was so off. So bad, like she was definitely pissed we were there. I totally get us coming in half hour before close time, but it's still a business and you are still OPEN. We sit down. We all look at each other and wonder if we should just leave, so we ask her to get the awkwardness out of the way. She said no, of course but her bar is closed. She was super aggressive and we just told her the vibe is just bad here , so we're gonna go. I feel so bad for my family having brought them there for their first time. To experience what we just experienced. I am really unsure if I would want to come back and support. I love this place, we absolutely love the food, but that person completely ruined it for us… Good lord girl. Again, I get you being tired and seeing 5 people come in half hour before you’re shift ends, but you just lost over $150 at least to the business.

I ordered continually from Marias, for 5 years. Tonight, I ordered and after speaking to Jennifer... I, nor my company, will ever order again from this place.
Jennifer explained that the original owners sold. The way she spoke to me, I lost trust that my food would be handled properly........

Can't say enough nice things... We've ordered take-out and delivery from Maria's for YEARS - love the pizza, sandwiches, pastas, salads. etc. The other day we finally made it into the restaurant for a sit down meal, and it was a fabulous experience! Food was as good as always, and of course getting it piping hot from the kitchen does make a difference. We had Stephanie as our waitress, and she was GREAT! Funny, friendly, and absolutely perfect service - can't ask for more! So anyway, wether you eat-in or take-out, Maria's is an absolute hit!

This is the second time we ordered pizza for delivery . The first time the delivery person just left pizza on ground in front of house and didn’t knock or ring doorbell . Pizza was cold and dry . We figured we would try one more time . Same thing this time pizza left on ground cold and dry . We called restaurant and their answer “ there’s nothing we can do about it , it’s a 3rd party delivery service . There actually is something they could do about it but to easy to blame somebody else . Never again . And will not refer anybody else there . Horrible customer service .

In Cape Coral for a visit and I was taken to Maria’s and I was so pleased. I ordered Chicken Parm w/Angel Hair and it was amazing. The portions at Maria’s and simply enormous and I had a full lunch the next day! Our wait-person was excellent and she kept our glasses full👌 Great, great experience at Maria’s and I will be back for my next visit to Cape Coral!

The food is different now. I don't know why.
They messed up the last 3 take out orders.
I don't know if it's new management or simply put, good help is hard to find. Anyway I'm not ordering from Maria's anymore.

Being from Chicago, I went into here with very low expectations. I was really craving some pizza..
I’m not gonna lie I may have been a Hangey when I walked in. But from my first interaction with my waitress to getting the bill and walking out the door, I couldn’t have gone any better and the food couldn’t have been any better.
I see the pizza was actually pretty good. I got a cheese and sausage. The only thing that I would ask for next time is a little more sausage. But I’m sure it’s perfect for some people when they ask you if you want bread in the beginning, say yes it is fantastic.. And she brings you a little plate of olive oil and seasonings for the bread very very good. And then I got the Capeesh It was decent. It was good flavored more than enough. And then the pizza came out and again. I have to admit it was pretty good.. So thank you everyone that works there. My only suggestion is maybe you put Miller light bottles on the menu. . 😂😆

Ordered take out, automatic phone system took my order. Gave a 35 minute wait time but food was ready in about 25 minutes. Hostess was friendly when I arrived. Overall pretty good food, we got garlic knots, stuffed shells, and the Italian sausage.

They had a rough night tonight, short staffed and air conditioning went out. It's Florida, it happens. The service was still impeccable and the food awesome. Keep it up. We had a great night.
