Traveling from NY and was looking for some authentic indian food. Very good. Try the mango lassi and the bullet naan!!
Do try their kadhai chicken!
We loved the pompano fish and well made vegetable rich Briyani.
Had a delicious meal here last night. Lamb chops and Shrimp in a delicious curry. Great service.
Today marked a memorable occasion, and my husband and I chose to celebrate at our beloved, favorite Masala Mantra Indian Bistro. It's our anniversary! The food and service there never fail to impress. I often find myself declaring Indian cuisine as my top pick among all the international flavors out there! The warmth of Indian hospitality is truly delightful. Our waiter, Akhil, is exceptional—his attentive and meticulous service stands out every time. The restaurant consistently maintains a pristine, fresh, and elegantly appointed atmosphere. Akhil and the manager went above and beyond to make our anniversary unforgettable. They surprised us with a scrumptious slice of mango cheesecake, adorned with a candle, and handed me a lighter to ignite it and mark the occasion! How thoughtful is that? Akhil even offered to capture some photos of us. A heartfelt thank you to the team for making us feel so valued! My husband and I highly recommend this restaurant. I wanted to share a few snapshots here. Miriam & John
Hands down our favorite Indian restaurant! We always look forward to being in Southwest Florida so that we can eat at Masala Mantra. Worth the drive from wherever you are. Very clean, atmospheric, and excellent food!
Delicious & Authentic Indian Food in Cape Coral!
Masala Mantra is a true gem for anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine. We tried the vegetable fried rice, vegetable biryani, bhindi masala, and malai kofta — and every dish was absolutely delicious and full of rich, traditional flavors. The bhindi was perfectly cooked (a rare find!), and the malai kofta was creamy, comforting, and indulgent.
Their mango lassi — cold, creamy, and the perfect balance of sweet, tangy and flavourful.
If you’re craving flavorful Indian food with amazing vegetarian options, Masala Mantra Cape Coral is a must-visit!
I was seriously impressed by the chicken Manchurian. The chicken had the perfect crispy exterior, even after being tossed in the sauce—no sogginess here. The flavor was sharp, with a great balance of garlic, soy, and just the right amount of chili heat.
The chicken Jalfrezi was full of flavor. The chicken was tender, but the vegetables are what really stood out. They were just charred enough to bring out the flavor alongside the tomato-based sauce. It wasn't heavy at all, which I loved. A great choice if you're craving something bold but not too rich.
The butter chicken was everything I wanted it to be: rich, creamy, and flavorful without being too sweet. The sauce was silky and luxurious, and the chicken had that slightly smoky flavor that brought everything together. It’s the kind of dish that makes you slow down to savor every bite. Absolutely perfect with warm naan straight from the oven.
Egg curry doesn’t always get the spotlight, but this one should. It felt home-cooked, with the right mix of spices and smoky finish.
The garlic naan was some of the best I’ve had. It held up well with all the curries and had a great crumb on its own. 10/10
The lamb rogan josh was tender and cooked perfectly. The sauce wasn’t overly spicy, but rich and layered. You can taste that it was slow-cooked.
The chicken phall is not for the faint of heart. The heat was intense, but it was more than just intense spice. Beneath, there was a smoky, tomato-chili flavor that kept me hooked. Every bite sure packed a punch, but it didn’t take over the other flavors. Make sure you’ve got a cold drink nearby!
The gulab jamun were warm, juicy, and soaked in syrup. The texture was soft and melt-in-your-mouth, not rubbery like some versions I’ve tried. A classic done right!
The rasmalai was light and refreshing. The paneer was soft but structured, and the chilled milk was just sweet enough to complement the paneer. It was a creamy, floral finish to the meal. Honestly, I’d come back just for this dessert.
Always great service and food is always fresh and delicious. Authentic Indian!! Staff is always amazing. If you’re looking to try something new or a fan of Indian food…who isn’t? Check this place out!
We love the chicken tiki masala and the plain Naan. We have been ordering delivery and decided to try dine in tonight. The cauliflower is deliciously spicy. And the desserts are good as well.
As good as always. We miss seeing the owners there, but will keep coming back.

I was worried that the food would be scicy. They make the food as spicy as you want it. I couldn't believe how good it was. They also have great service. I am pleasantly surprised by how good this restaurant is.
Before moving into my house in fort myers I had the pleasure of staying near masala mantra. I ate this for lunch and dinner for almost 3 weeks and it did not disappoint. I still make the trip over to have dinner the garlic naan, butter chicken, biryani, everything is good. It’s the best Indian food that I’ve found on the gulf side from Sarasota to Naples. The staff is consistently amazing and the food has been consistently amazing everytime I go. I do wish I lived closer because this would absolutely be a weekly meal for me.
Very good authentic Indian food. Many dishes can easily be made vegan - just ask your server.
Friendly staff. Great service. Amazing food. Do not hesitate to come here.
