Our group of 8 tried Chef Rocco’s Misto. Having been to the previous version of Misto, we all agreed Chef Rocco is the real deal. The specials were beyond what we expected and the regular menu is terrific. Misto’s definitely exceeded our expectations and we will be visiting frequently.

Went in on a Saturday afternoon to order a steak sandwich and was told that they didn't have the meat. The owner was very nice about it and gave us a discount for a future sandwich.
Went back on the following Thursday and again asked for the same sandwich and again was told that they didn't have the meat
Was told that if I really wanted that sandwich I needed to come back on a Tuesday because they use the leftover prime rib from Saturday to make the steak sandwich and when it was gone there would be no sandwiches.
Sent a message on there website and received NO RESPONSE.

If you don't have the meat take the sandwich off the menu and make it a special.

Was hoping to try the sandwich and find a new place for us to visit on a regular basis.

Really liked this place. We are locals and it is summer in Ft. Myers so it is easier to get in. We like to check out the local restaurants in the summer and this one is quite good. It is located in a strip mall but is nice inside. Our food was quite good and our server was very attentive. Recommend this place for other locals to check out during the summer while the seasonals are gone. Be sure and check out the desert tray. Cheese cake and canolies were quite good.

Overall, we very much liked Misto's. The food we received was delicious and the service very good, but I stopped short of saying everything was excellent. I ordered the veal parmesan with linguini. The server took the order and said that they had linguini. When my meal was set before me, it was veal parmesan and spaghetti. I looked at the server and told him that I asked for linguini. He was quick to say that the cook told him that the pasta was linguini. When I challenged the server and explained that linguini was flatter and thicker than spaghetti, the manager barked that what I was served was linguini and that he knows because his cook gets it from an Italian purveyor.
What I was served clearly had a round cross-section. Though I felt insulted, I let it go. My Bride received the same disappointment as she also ordered linguini, not spaghetti. She is a master cook. She followed my example of silence.
I considered it a point of ignorance on the part of the three persons--the chef, the manager, and the server--that they clearly did not know the difference between their pastas. All three should have been apologetic and asked if I wanted another pasta choice, but they did not.
Wikipedia presents the definition of linguini as, "Linguine is a type of Italian pasta similar to fettuccine and trenette, but elliptical in section rather than flat. It is about 4 millimetres in width, which is wider than spaghetti, but not as wide as fettuccine." The Italian word linguini means 'little tongue' and comes from the elliptical shape of the pasta.
If you want to go to an Italian restaurant that will call a pig's ear a silk purse, this is the place to go. Otherwise, if you are looking for an Italian restaurant that knows its Italian foods, ELSEWHERE is a better choice.

The food was amazing. The scallops were divine. Great service and a wonderful atmosphere. We went on a Thursday night and they had line dancing that looked fun as hell. Great place.

Friends took us to Misto, and the place looked really fancy and nice, promising a high-end dining experience. However, we were disappointed with the food, which lacked flavor despite the sophisticated presentation. Given the high price tag, we expected much more in terms of taste and overall quality. While the ambiance and decor were impressive, they couldn't make up for the underwhelming culinary experience. Unfortunately, we won't be returning, as the food simply didn't justify the cost.

Parking: Lots of room in the parking lot.

Our friends have dined here many times so when I suggested it they quickly agreed. The atmosphere was fun and our server, Kiera was top notch!! I had the Saturday evening, prime rib special. I think it was the best I’ve ever had! The meal was delicious as well as the drinks.

This restaurant used to be our go-to place for nice dinner to celebrate birthdays or other occasions. After the ownership change, we gave it a 2nd go, hoping that food did improve. We walked away very disappointed. We ordered 5 files steaks, and 4 out of 5 were overcooked. I mean, well done when ordered medium rare. The waitress said they would re cook the stakes. They did. I appreciated it. and they were done better, but I would not consider these a $38 dollar steak. I'm not sure where they get their steaks, but publix stakes are way better. The mashed potatoes that came with the steak were mediocre, something you would get at a diner. The appetizers were pretty good, but the main dishes were really horrible. We will not be coming back.

I don't usually post reviews on Google, but I feel compelled too... because this food is simply amazing. It's easily the best Italian, in all of Cape Coral-- and a hidden gem, at that.I've tried several dishes and I have yet to find one that I wouldn't rate 5 stars. Their garlic bread is amazing and the atmosphere inside is relaxed. The staff is very friendly and is very attentive to our needs, every time. Also, the owner is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet and genuinely cares about his customers.
