Gratuit service and the pizza is awesome

I visited Overtime Pizzeria with my family and had a very poor experience. The potato was burned, the crème brûlée tasted microwaved, and the ribs were cheap. After eating, we all suffered from food poisoning. When I requested a refund, the manager, Tyler, was rude and refused to refund the money to my card, offering only a gift card. I do not plan to return, and the experience was made worse by the manager’s unprofessional behavior.

This is in response to the below review by Marty Hinz (MD) : I was at this restaurant Friday night and personally witnessed the events you are describing. What you have written here is not an accurate account of what actually took place. From the moment you arrived, your behavior toward the staff was rude, dismissive, and overbearing. The young hostess did her best to explain the seating situation, yet you repeatedly raised your voice and treated her with hostility.

When the manager stepped in to try to de-escalate things, you only escalated further. On two separate occasions, I saw you become physically threatening toward the manager, leaning in and using your size to intimidate him. Despite your behavior, the manager remained calm, respectful, and professional in every interaction. At no point did anyone touch you or handle you in any way.

It was very clear to me as an onlooker that the staff was making every effort to manage an uncomfortable situation while you were intent on creating a scene. Your description of being mistreated as an “elderly handicapped customer” is simply not true. What actually happened is that the employees handled themselves with remarkable patience and restraint in the face of your repeated outbursts.

As a fellow customer who had my meal disrupted by your actions, I feel it is important to set the record straight. The staff did nothing wrong and, in fact, should be commended for how well they handled an extremely difficult situation. I have already provided my name to the restaurant so that, if necessary, they have an independent witness account of your behavior. You sir should have better self-control as a doctor...Quack Watch!

We had our football draft here the other night and it was great. Food was awesome, service was on point. They just recently extended their happy hour to 6PM so we made it just in time for that. I will absolutely be having more parties here in the future

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Overtime. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was fun and friendly. The staff was attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure everything was perfect. Oh and did I mention the food was AMAZING and the server, Macy, was EXCEPTIONAL!! We will definitely be back!

I’ve recently noticed some negative commentary towards the staff belittling their experience and competency proving adequate service to patrons, specifically one who claims to be disabled due to “height”. The review written by Marty Hinz MD is false and inaccurate, which can be backed by another patron’s review accounting for his irate and disrespectful behavior towards a server who is polite and more than competent. The manager did his job well by defending his staff from the rude and insulting remarks from this individual simply because he did not get his way.

But rather than continuing to expose this individuals arrogance, I’d prefer to share my experience at Overtime as a disabled veteran who is still recovering from several surgeries due to a motorcycle accident, one severely impacting my ability to walk.

Upon entry, I was immediately met with a warm welcome. I decided to sit at the bar instead of a table, and was quickly met with the same enthusiasm from bar staff as the host. One of the staff took notice of my injury, and offered any an all assistance. The bartenders provided service that created a fun and friendly atmosphere, as well as ensuring I was as comfortable as possible during my stay.

This establishment and its staff are not just skilled and competent in their craft, but also friendly and welcoming. I hope review eliminates any doubts towards the staff and encourages everyone to spend their time there.

My family and I frequent this restaurant and are always very pleased with both the service and the food. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are consistently friendly and accommodating. We've had the pleasure of being served several times by Laci, a fantastic waitress who is always bubbly, attentive, and genuinely pleasant. Her positive energy and excellent service make each visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!
