Everything is very good at Pt 57! Their 'scratch made' kitchen never disappoints. Easy parking. Patio dining. Great bar n bar area. Reservations are a must! Enjoy one of our regular stops...

The bartender was serving the bar and the restaurant. I don't think this is very accommodating. It was a little after lunch time but still busy to a degree

I am new to Cape Coral and after reading many positive reviews, we chose to dine at Point 57 last evening. I could not be more disappointed in the experience. We arrived early - at 6:30 pm for a 7 pm reservation. Of course we knew that it might not be possible to seat us early. We went to the bar. At 7 pm, I checked on our reservation and was told that there were still two in front of me. I won’t drag it out. At 7:50 pm after not being seated we sat at the bar and ordered dinner. It was not until 8 pm that someone came to seat us. The food was, indeed, very good but I think my disappointment over the long wait clouds my judgement.

Had the filet minon with shrimp and crab. Absolutely delicious 😋. Drinks are great here also. A must go.

Honestly very sad how down hill this place has gone. Service, food has just gotten lazy. We keep going back because it is directly down the street and used to love it. Recently, food has been wrong when we went with friends. Food just took over 30mins today and never came. I loved that we had the best restaurant in Cape Coral down the street but it just doesn’t seem to make sense to go there anymore since that was the case a few years ago. Some staff and manager W. are great but unfortunately the place doesn’t seem to care anymore.
Point 57 used to be our favorite restaurant in all of SW Florida but it has done a total nosedive the last several months. The service is horrible and the food quality has been consistently bad. We recently went in for lunch and waited over 30 minutes for burgers that we ended up not being able to eat because we had to leave. No one checked in with us or did anything to make it right. I genuinely wanted point 57 to be successful and open for years to come but now I hope they close so something else can open because it’s awful, overpriced, boring, and they really don’t care anymore.

We had a reservation tonight at 7:30, and when we got there there was 20 other people waiting. It took 10 mins just to get up to the host stand and once I checked in they told me I could wait at the bar till our table was ready. I asked if they’d give us like a pager or text us when our table was ready and they said “no, we’ll find you”. Lol fat chance. There was a ton of people already waiting and they clearly overbooked themselves. When my husband and I went to the bar there was nowhere to sit, and we were about to walk out but two people got up and we took their seats. We cancelled our reservations and sat at the bar. People who got there ahead of us finally got sat like 30 mins later. When we tried to order food they were out of both of the entrees I wanted. The bartenders were fantastic which is probably why I’d give them 3 stars, but otherwise our first experience there was not good at all. They overbooked themselves. Whats the point in making reservations (and even confirming them with the restaurant the day before) if you’re not able to handle them all and run out of food? Probably won’t go back.
Jessica our server was amazing. We went Christmas eve. The halibut and squash risotto so yummy. I had the best cocktail. Espresso martini. Everything was awesome. Little loud for me but it's open to kitchen and high ceilings. Not a big deal. We had a fabulous night.
