“Having grown up in the northeast I've had my fair share of lobster rolls. These rolls can stand up to any in Maine. Delicious with a generous amount of lobster. Wonderful, friendly service AND good food. I'd say this is destined to be a winner for our growing city.“

“Ah… a little slice of a core memory—magical tea parties with my grandmother! This darling cafe combines delicious teas with beautiful china, pretty flowers, and delicious sandwiches. From the moment we walked up to this cafe, it felt nostalgic, celebratory, and special.
We loved the whimsical murals, cabinets filled with delicate china, wide-brimmed hats to choose from, and an assortment of pastries. The details made the experience feel so special—the music, pretty light fixtures, soft colors, lace textures, and flowers everywhere.
The tea was served in a bone china tea cup. The owner kept track of when it was done steeping and brought over a fancy little plate to place the tea holder on the second it was done. The Lavender Lemonade had fancy, round ice cubes and was served in a beautiful tall glass. The chicken salad was tasty on a fresh croissant. Even the chips felt special in a little cup. Loved the Tweedledee Club with melted cheese, ham, turkey, mayo, lettuce, and tomato.
They have a tea for two that looks delightful. I can’t wait to return!“

“Over several years I’ve had some meals from China Garden that bordered on mediocre but on my latest visit tonight the food delighted me. Vegetables were crisp and well cut and the meats were seasoned and tender. Hot and sour soup was flavorful and loaded. The restaurant premises have had a significant upgrade and are now bright and tidy (if still utilitarian) and look much more inviting. It is great to see this staple in our community lifting their game.“
