I was interested in this restaurant until I discovered the management posts nothing but crazy ultra right wing anti science nonsense on their FB page.

Just got back from one of the best meals we've had in our 3 months in the area. We have never been treated so well and can't thank them for making the evening so nice. Elizabeth was so very sweet and efficient. The owner visited our table several times take sure we had everything needed. We have 20 days left before heading home and are already planning our next visit to Moorings!

Gives a whole new meaning to quirky. I was waiting for Rodney Dangerfield to pop out and say, "Hey, you get a free chair with that bowl of soup." The furniture on the patio came out of my late Grandma Helen's trailer. Now, the serve yourself honor system bar was great. Patio is a scene out of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Very kool. Omg, even better, check on notebook paper, and we were given Walmart bags to put our leftovers in. Got to love this stuff.

Server was nice but that's the only plus. Filthy restaurant. The ceiling is caving in, they have portable A/C's because the ductwork in the ceiling is broken. Flies everywhere inside. I don't understand how this place has a 4.5

We went last night after hearing about all the appetizers they give you and how good they were. We got nothing! After waiting an hour for food it was cold and shrimp and scallops tasted like low tide! Portions were small. After dinner we expected the dessert and wine everyone raves about We had to go to the kitchen and get it ourselves. Making your own drinks at the bar is very cool but would not go back for the food!

Very eclectic place. Friendly staff and owner. Self-service bar, meaning you go behind the bar and get your beer out of the cooler, put them in a bucket of ice and they charge for the empty cans and bottles. Mix your own cocktails too. Grilled seafood dishes were very good with vegetables underneath the fish fillets and seafood mix. Our server brought an after-dinner drink of merlot wine and amaretto mixture. Odd, but someone at our table liked it. The owner brought out a complimentary version of their take on a cannoli. Not bad. Again, a very eclectic place, no trills, but fresh tasting seafood dishes. They have been there for over 30 years.

Every time I come here I love it more and more. The owner is just absolutely one of the sweetest people. This place is not for everyone but the food is always delicious and plenty of it. Cocktails flow freely, especially when you go behind the bar and make them yourself. One of the most fun places I take my guess when they come into town

Do NOT miss going to this place! We go here every time we're in Cape Coral...multiple times. We've even told locals about it. The owner, Al, is very accommodating and you will get complimentary plates and tastes of foods. Save room for the unique cannolis that are better than the original ones. He shops for the seafood himself, and it is prepared perfectly. I can't recommend the food high enough, and we are sort of food snobs. We first found this place because we travel with our dog and there's a large outside and comfortable patio. No pretentiousness here. Just a quirky and comfortable ambience with awesome food and very affordable.
