From the moment we walked into this family run diner, I knew we were in for a treat! The handmade sandwiches and shakes were delicious. The bread literally melted in my mouth.The entire experience was wonderful, from the attentive service, to the charming ambiance.Had the chance to meet the owner (Ellen). What a delightful woman! Very charming place with sweet employees. But the sandwiches were tiny and WAY overpriced - with soggy side chips. And order was left out on counter even though I conveyed it would be a few hours before I returned to pick up. The quality was fine. Disappointment was all about bang for buck. Had the price been 1/3 lower or sandwich size 1/3 larger, I wouldn’t be complaining…

This is one of my favorite places for lunch. Large selection of sandwiches. My favorite is the Rueben on sour dough. The ladies behind the counter are always so nice. Just a good place and represents the essence of Carrabelle.
