Atmosphere was nice and homey. Our waitress was lovely! Food was good. They should be more upfront with the 3% service charge added to your bill. It wasn't busy so everything came out in a timely manner.

We were greeted quite rudely and abruptly, so it wasn't a great start. Our waitress was alternatingly rude and nice, so we never knew which version we'd get. One of our drinks was wrong, but our guest was afraid to say anything. Our appetizers came out WITH our meals and the waitress just blew it off. Serving appetizers with the meal is inexcusable. One of our meals was wrong and was whisked away with a rude comment. We wanted dessert but were clearly discouraged. We ordered anyway! Service was quite slow. We were hosting out of town guests, so the whole experience was embarrassing, unpleasant and became a joke. They were clearly shorthanded and busy, but all the waitress had to do is politely explain that and then continue to be POLITE and the whole experience would've been very different. Good service overcomes a lot of kitchen deficiencies! Definitely not going back.

Love the menu and food! Service was quick and friendly.
The worst ever! We’ve been coming here for years-the best was with Chef Jaime. We arrived and they presented a new menu-very expensive. Look at it online before you go! We started with the tuna app. now served with a heavy mayo dip that was dreadful. Next, I had shrimp and my husband had the seafood platter ($42.00) consisting of a piece of fish, one small crab paddy and some shrimp. No bread, crackers or salad is included. The only side included on both was French fries. You have to “buy up” to change sides. We asked for the manager who came to our table and I questioned the $8.00 charge to get the spinach side as stated on the menu-he said it wouldn’t cost that much but that is not stated on the menu (he blamed it on the server) and gave me a complimentary spinach. It was dreadful-it tasted like heated, canned spinach with way too much garlic thrown in. It was inedible. The entire time we were there, only two other tables came in and I can see why. Our server was excellent even though we complained to the manager. A mediocre, overpriced meal at best…sad to see a once good local restaurant fall so far. Our check was over a hundred dollars for two-we won’t be going back
We had a great meal last night at Crooked River Grill! Had not been in a while and we were very pleased.
The tuna appetizer was phenomenal. Steak was delicious. We also had the catfish special with the succotash and remoulade. And the brussels sprouts /bacon were ridiculously great. Homemade keylime pie…forget about it!
New management is crushing it!

Good service and speed on getting the orders out whether it be for a quick meal before golf or a sit down. Classic course menu throughout the afternoon but has full breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu
Crooked River Grill was a pleasant surprise during our stay at St. James Bay. The food was fresh and had plenty of flavor. The dining room has nice views that make the whole experience even better. The staff was very friendly! It is the perfect spot for a meal whether you are staying on the property or passing through the area.

If you ever find yourself driving through Carrabelle and want to catch a vibe while also enjoying some great food and live music, Crooked River Grille is your spot. It sits right on the beautiful golf course of St James Bay Golf and Pickleball resort. The Chef was awesome and probably has a million dollar idea with his homemade potato chips, they are addictive! The menu has a great blend of fresh coastal dinners but also offers a variety of steaks. Bar game is strong with top-shelf spirits, a deep bourbon list, creative cocktails with the most generous pour on the forgotten coast. The service was pretty decent but a little slow compared to the amount of people that was in the restaurant at time but visiting later that evening I had a much better experience. For what it’s worth, the menu is a bit pricey, for a dinner for two with an appetizer and two drinks my meal topped out at about $115.
Deanna was great. Everyone great. Had the tenderloin and it melted in my mouth! Awesome!!!

Great, welcoming, good drinks !!
The restaurant has a really pretty atmosphere, but unfortunately the service and food didn’t live up to it. Our server messed up our order, and when we politely questioned it, she insisted that’s what I ordered, even though it wasn’t something I would ever choose. The food itself was just average at best. Disappointing overall, especially given how nice the place looks.
