Stopped here while driving through Carrabelle and got the fried grouper. It was the best fried grouper I’ve ever had! I grew up in the seafood industry so I’m extremely picky about my seafood. This was fresh out the water! I live in PC and I’m strongly considering driving all the way to Carrabelle just for another plate. I’ll be back soon!

Had the grouper, shrimp, hush puppies, fries and slaw plate. All was so good. The fish just fell apart. The shrimp were huge. Over all, I'll definitely be back.
I literally daydream about the taste of this seafood. I tell stories about it to people, that they'll never taste fresh fish as good anywhere else unless it comes from a food truck. And even then, other food trucks haven't impressed me like this one has. You must come during their brief window of time, bring cash, and get the seafood platter to share with a friend or two. You will not regret it. Utterly amazing.

Seafood Shack. Next door to Millender & Sons Seafood, this little shack blew us away. Turns out the owner, Beth Millender, is family—and she gets all her seafood straight from Millender’s.
We split a $37 Seafood Platter and it was massive:
• Grouper, bay scallops (insanely sweet and fresh), shrimp (big, juicy), and a great crab cake (mix of fin and lump).
• “Hush puppies” were more like corn fritters—excellent.
• Sides? We chose Turnip greens with bacon (fantastic) and super fresh slaw.
• No oysters today, so she gave us extra scallops.
Cash only. You need to eat here.
EDIT: My wife went back today for a Mullet lunch special ($10) when I was on conference calls (darn it!). So jealous. But she got me some hot sauces next door.

A true local place with good food! I’ve eaten here a couple previous times and it’s always been good. Today my wife shared a Seafood Platter. It had grouper, bay scallops, shrimp, a crab cake, hush puppies, fries and coleslaw. I had them add a couple of fried mullet fillets. The food is cooked to order so it’s always fresh and hot. They actually get their seafood from the next door seafood shop. Their hours are 1130 - 3, but if you’re going after 1’oclok you might want call ahead to make sure they are still open. Once the fresh food is gone, they close up shop.

I really like places like this, but in all honesty can't give it a very good review. The food took 35 minutes, and they weren't busy. They say they cook to order, but only one order at a time. Just too slow. But worse, I ordered fried shrimp and it had the texture and taste of frozen farm-raised product. I've eaten a hell of a lot of shrimp in my life and I know good from bad. This was bad. The breading barely stuck, flaking off all over the place. I could possibly have lived with the delay if the food was worth it, but it just wasn't. It makes me sad, too. I really wanted to like it.
