I can't believe Bagel King has been around since 1977, and I'm just discovering them now. Third-generation Bagel Prince, Frankie Perrotta is the real deal. The roast beef is insane. I can't stop thinking about it. And so many schmears!

My girlfriend talked about this place to me for awhile abd her being from New Jersey sge knows her bagels pretty well. So we finally went a few mornings ago as my first time going. I will say they are the best bagels ive ever had in Florida. I had the jalapeño cheddar bagel sandwich with cream cheese, bacon and ham. It was so amazing. She had the chicken fried steak with potatoes and egg over easy. The portion was huge I had to eat some of her meal, we took the rest home. The service was amazing also. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. I will gladly return back to this restaurant for breakfast. Highly recommend.

WARNING - DECEPTIVE DRINK PRACTICE WHEN DINING IN! My wife and I loved the food here and the service is top notch but you should be aware of their misleading practice when it comes to your drinks. When you order your food, the wait staff will casually tell you to go up and get your own drinks from the drink stand area. They do not ask you if you want water, they point you to the drink stand like it's included with your meal. My wife and I normally just drink tap water with our meals when we eat out, but we did as instructed and got drinks from the drink stand. Each of us barely drank half of our drinks. When the bill came, I found out that they charge an exorbitant $3.49 per drink! That means that we had almost $7.00 added to our bill for two drinks that we barely touched! That was almost a quarter of our total bill and is a lot of money for a retired couple on a fixed income! I feel like the wait staff should ask if you would like water or would like to add a drink to your meal. If the customer wants to add a drink, then they should direct them to the drink stand, but it should be made clear that the drinks are an additional charge. This practice is VERY deceptive and dishonest. In the future, we will make it clear that we DO NOT want to add drinks and would just like two glasses of ice water. This being said, I think it will be a long time before we eat there again.
