During my years in Altamonte, I had a weekly tradition of eating lunch here. However, my recent craving for a roast pork sandwich led to a disappointing experience.
The bread, which I used to be crispy, was instead soggy and lacking texture. The pernil, expected to be succulent and well-seasoned, was bland and unappetizing. We also tried some empanadas, but they had an off-putting aftertaste reminiscent of old grease.
While the staff was friendly and attentive, we chose to eat in our car due to the overwhelming smell of grease inside the restaurant. This visit did not live up to my fond memories, and I sadly won’t be returning.
This place is amazing. My wife and I just happened to stumble upon it and the food was phenomenal, and the prices weren't out of this world either; either that or I'm getting used to Disney prices. If you enjoy Cuban food I would definitely give this place a try be warned they get busy but they push food out pretty quickly.

Always enjoyed the food here in the past. Last week ordered a to go of grilled chicken breast and onions , rice.Chicken was a little dry and there was no juice/gravy on the rice. I Today so disappointed. My to go order of roast pork and yellow rice had no gravy and I was skimped on the extra onions I requested. I contacted the restaurant and was told the juice from the meat is oily therefore not added to items but they will give me a side of onions, and a side of the juice from the meat to pour over the rice and pork. -I returned to the restaurant, spoke with the Manager and returned home with my sides. The juice from the roast pork was indeed oily ( %99 oil) and was unpalatable. I made my own gravy. Regretfully, I have lost trust in the food and will look elsewhere.
