I am from Toronto and I love Japanese cuisine. I was in Orlando to visit relatives in mid December for four days. They brought me to their favourite Japanese restaurant, Wa Sushi. I found the sushi and sashimi prepared by the chefs to be excellent with their own unique touch. I love the The food so much that I had to return on the day of my departure for the second time. I highly recommend from their Special menu, the Bluefin Tuna Experience, Land and Sea Tasting, and Grilled Kamasu swordfish, and Jalapeño Hamachi. Of all the eateries I have visited in Orlando, this is by far this best. High compliments to the sushi chefs. The servers were efficient and friendly, especially Emma, whose pleasant personality and wow fingernails made our visits great dining experiences. This is definitely a must visit when I come back.

This was my first time coming here and I must say it was amazing!!! The waitresses are awesome and very attentive. And the chefs have done an amazing job of cultivating a menu that is simple yet complex in flavor. The sushi is fresh and to die for I would highly recommend this restaurant to any sushi lover seeking fresh and quality sushi for reasonable prices. 10/10

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfectly suited for an exceptional meal. The sushi itself was nothing short of extraordinary—fresh, artfully prepared, and bursting with flavor in every bite. You can truly taste the care and craftsmanship that goes into each dish.
But what really elevated the entire evening was our server, Kaye, who was absolutely exceptional. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, offering thoughtful recommendations that were spot-on. She was kind and attentive without ever feeling intrusive, anticipating what we needed before we even had to ask. Her genuine enthusiasm and professionalism added a personal touch that made the meal feel truly special.
Between the incredible food and the outstanding service, this restaurant has earned a permanent spot on my list of favorites. I can’t wait to come back—and I’ll definitely be asking for the Kaye as our server next time!

I love this place and will come here any chance I get! All of the servers are so sweet and prompt. The food is amazing and definitely some of the best sushi I’ve had. Everything is perfect, from the freshness of the fish, to the sushi rice being the perfect texture. Their specials menu has some pretty rare options, which I love, and the prices are decent too. I highly recommend this place, even if it’s a bit out of the way!

Authentic Japanese food! I was impressed—the quality of the fish here is on the same level or even surpasses the “high-end” establishments in Orlando. Another key aspect is the rice, which was cooked perfectly!
Additionally, the waitress was kind, thoughtful, and offered plenty of suggestions. The sushi chefs were also masters at their craft because the rice and fish meshed together perfectly.
I really love how they have a rotating weekly menu—which has local and Japanese fish. The variety is astounding!
This is now my GO TO spot when I’m in the area!

It was our first time trying this place and we were shocked, it is outstanding! I love sushi and have tried a lot of places in orlando and this just went straight to the top of the list. The sushi was extremely fresh and flavorful. Our favorites were the Samurai roll and Fuji roll. The niku udon is also really good and very flavorful. Additionally, the service is incredible, two ladies looked after us and were very kind and super attentive. They gave great recommendations!

Unassuming from the outside, Wa Sushi is everything you want in a sushi restaurant. Delicious food and drinks in a smaller size restaurant with bar seating. Sushi is always on point, agedashi tofu is a must, as are the udon soups. On our last visit they even had a full head of a 132lb tuna on display from their recent purchase to showcase how fresh the fish is.
