Unassuming from the outside, Wa Sushi is everything you want in a sushi restaurant. Delicious food and drinks in a smaller size restaurant with bar seating. Sushi is always on point, agedashi tofu is a must, as are the udon soups. On our last visit they even had a full head of a 132lb tuna on display from their recent purchase to showcase how fresh the fish is.

A refined dining experience where every detail shines. The sushi is impeccably fresh and artfully prepared, the service attentive, and the atmosphere warm yet sophisticated. Best Sushi spot I have tried! Highly recommend.

If you find yourself near the Casselberry, FL area, make sure to swing by Wa Sushi, a modern Japanese gem that’s tucked away in a strip mall. I know, strip mall sushi might not sound appealing at first, but trust me—don’t judge this book by its cover! Once you step inside, you’ll find a cozy and relaxed ambiance that’s perfect for a romantic dinner date or a fun night catching up with friends over delicious food.

The menu is an amazing mix of classic dishes and innovative fusion cuisine. I had the pleasure of trying their bluefin tuna sashimi, and at just $2 per piece, it was a steal! The freshness was out of this world; each slice was served at the perfect temperature, allowing the flavor to shine through. And let’s talk about the sushi rice—it was spot on, seasoned just right, which is often overlooked but crucial for a great sushi experience.

Definitely don’t miss the Amazing Land & Sea roll; it’s a crowd-pleaser with layers of flavors that will make your taste buds dance. The presentation is also worth mentioning—sashimi garnished with edible flowers? Pure art on a plate!
While the service was a bit slow during peak hours (we waited Japane10-20 minutes for our food), the quality of the dishes made the wait absolutely worthwhile. If you’re someone who gets impatient when it comes to receiving your food, you might want to hit up an all-you-can-eat spot instead. But for those who appreciate great food, this food is well worth the wait.

Oh, and if you can, sit at the bar! It’s where the magic happens, and you can really see the love and care the chefs put into each dish. And don’t forget to check out their selection of Japanese craft beers and saki to complement your meal. We had fantastic tasting sake bombs!

Overall, Wa Sushi is a must-visit! I can’t wait to go back and explore more of their offerings. Each bite made me pause to appreciate just how good sushi can be, and I’m already daydreaming about my next visit!

We love Wa Sushi. The food is very delicious and unique. However, the prices have become very high over the last 3 years.
Dishes that used to cost $12 are now $18. And the servings are now very small. Otherwise, The service is good, attentive and polite. The ambiance is cozy, but could use some freshening.
Overall, we love the food so much (honestly, you cannot find Japanese dishes and sushi of this quality anywhere else near where-the-hell-is Casselberry, FL), that we will be returning.
And, unlike downtown Orlando or Disney, parking is convenient and free!

I've been coming to Wa Sushi for 10 years, since they opened. I haven't been to their new location as often, but it's nice. Mango Tango roll was my favorite, but I don't see it anymore.

Great authentic sushi plus some unique specials. Also has rolls for the more casual sushi eaters.

WA sushi provides some of, if not the best traditional sushi on the north side of Orlando. Fish is always fresh, and their seasonal menu rotates seemingly weekly. Service is always superb, waitress Emma remembered my face despite not having visited for months, and always has great energy.

We've been coming to Wa Sushi over the years( including when they were in their old location in Casselberry). This is one of the few sushi places that we can generally count on having Uni on the menu. We go out to eat a lot, and we're always on the lookout for great sushi restaurants. Wa Sushi is our go-to restaurant for good Asain food, and we come back numerous times each year. They're celebrating their 10 year anniversary, so you know they're doing things right. They used to have a great stout beer in the old location, and we wish they'd get that one back on the menu again. Keep up the great work, Wa Sushi, and we'll see you next time!

Hidden Gem Alert!
We recently visited Wa Sushi in Orlando, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and incredibly detailed. They took the time to explain each dish, which really elevated the entire experience.

The sushi was top-notch, fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor.

The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed night out.

Well what can I say. I have lived in the area for 5 years and my wife has for 15. Neither one of us knew this place even existed.
I can honestly say this is the best sushi I have had in the states. The tuna was excellent, the tempura was Devine and the salmon was to die for. I’m so glad we found this spot. I’m sure we shall be enjoying many more delights from this great little spot. Can’t wait to eat here again.

This has to be the best sushi for the price in all of Orlando. It's definitely a hidden gem. I didnt expect such quality out of this small shop tucked away in a strip mall. The chef's specials were amazing. My favorite was the Wagyu and Bluefin tuna roll. Our server was very knowledgeable and seemed like she loved working there. I highly recommend giving them a try. I am already looking forward to going back!

They are celebrating 10 years and we've been going since there were at their old location 10 years ago. Still love the artistry and perfection of their sushi and dishes!

First time visiting, and it won’t be our last! We tried the Land and Sea roll, which featured wagyu, bluefin tuna, and avocado—it was absolutely delicious, though we wish we had known ahead of time that it only came with four pieces. We also had the shrimp tempura roll, which was the best we’ve ever had—the shrimp was fresh and still warm. Can’t wait to come back!

All the servers are so nice and are super honest about the food. The food was really good to, the only thing I like more than good service is good food and this place had both.
