What a nice place this is, I surprised my family one Sunday morning with Argentine empanadas and croissants. It took us to those beautiful memories of those 4 years that we lived in that beautiful country, we were very happy during our stay... Visiting and supporting these Argentine places here in Orlando for us is a way of paying them back for all the beautiful opportunities they gave us and that also They made us feel at home.

Blessings guys, here you have some Venezuelan friends ??????

As a group of 6 people, it was our first time there. And let me tell you how many issues and disappointments we had since the beginning. This was unanimously discussed, by the way, so, six people felt the same way.

1. When we were seated, the server didn't get to our table for a long time. The place was not busy and it was small, so what was going on?

2. When the server finally came, he brought us bread with chimichurri. No plates. So six people were just holding the pieces while the oil was dripping onto their menus...

3. I asked for extra napkins. No napkins were brought. I asked again...

4. We ordered 6 different empanadas. Some other person came with a stack of empanadas, quickly said which was was which and started to leave. We had to ask to slow down, because half the table was vegetarian and we couldn't mistakenly grab the wrong empanada.

5. Additional orders included Caprese salad, fries with eggs, and potato salad. Caprese salad wasn't a salad but chunks of mozzarella and tomatoes, tiny bit of balsamic & basil. Fries with eggs - fries were too greasy and tasteless, eggs were tasteless and bland. The whole thing we could have made in our own kitchen, only better. The potato salad was super bland, as if they just put together basic ingredients from a can and threw in some Dollar store mayonnaise. No seasoning. Six people couldn't even finish that tiny plate (didn't finish the fries either).

6. The waiter then disappeared for a long time. He was actually mostly absent as if our table was abandoned. Everyone felt confused. Then some other waiter suddenly showed up and said, "I heard you needed a check?" We said no... He then said, oh, it was the wrong table maybe. Then proceeded to leave. And we were like, uhhh, we were actually waiting to order a dessert. The server turned around and asked what we wanted. Really though? Bother servers have looked unorganized and confused about their work.

7. Some chocolate dessert and flan finally arrived. The first one was super dry and was falling apart. No one was impressed. Final disappointment.

I haven't experienced such low quality food and service in many years and I tend to explore different restaurants and foods. Even some hole-in-the-wall places and random food trucks have tasted 1000 times better! And were cheaper!!! None of us are ever returning to that place and I personally highly DO NOT recommend even trying that, unless you just want to try and pay expensive price for disappointment, blandness, and unimpressiveness. And be forgotten on top of that.

Beautiful atmosphere, the servers are very good and attentive to what you need, excellent food, I felt like I was in Argentina the whole time I was there, my congratulations to the cooks for the food, it was excellent and the dessert was the same (I recommend those pancakes with sweet milk)

Vegetarian options: Their specialties are meats as it is in Argentina, but they have empanadas for vegetarians (I recommend the spinach empanada, I was surprised at how delicious it is and I don't like spinach)

First time visit to Alma Argentina a week ago for late lunch. We ordered two appetizers to share among three of us: Provoleta ($15), which is a small skillet of mild tasting cheese and 2 Chorizo’s ($11). The Chorizo had a natural snappy casing and the flavor was nice and not too spicy. For our meals, we each ordered a Chicken Milanesa ($19.85). Two of us ordered Four Cheese and one ordered it Napolitana. Two of us ordered Caprese Salad as side dish and one of us ordered Potato Salad.
The Milanesa is two flattened fried chicken breasts. The Napolitana has cheese and a marinara sauce which was nice. The Four cheese did not have a sauce which would have been nicer as it was a bit dry.
The Caprese Salad was fresh and plentiful. The Potato Salad was quite bland and not something I would get again. They also served a basket of soft dinner rolls that were so very good.
Drinks were bottled beverages and they offered a selection of beers and wines.
I think that next time we visit or order take out, we will try a selection of their Empanadas.
Service was friendly and attentive.

I ordered butter and fat croissants, they were burnt, super packed inside and super heavy, the egg with which the croissants are painted was as if cooked, super expensive for a dozen. And it took them more than 20 minutes to deliver my order. I had to throw them away, it's a real shame. I would not go again or recommend it.

We have ordered take out and also dine in on different days. On both days the food was really delicious and fresh and the service was great. The environment is really pleasant, the menu is varied and all items are pretty good.
