Downtown Diner Celebration

As most of you know I very seldom post on FB but after the experience we just had at Downtown Diner in Celebration I just had to say something… They had some new menu items. We had the BBQ chicken platter. It was incredible! Something you have to try!

After several months of absolute enjoyment last night will mark the last time my family and I dine in your establishment. Back in october walking by friends and I decided to give the Diner a try. The staff was super friendly and appeared to enjoy working there. Its this type of atmosphere that inspired me to frequent this place. Every visit I have always had a wonderful experience. there was an evening when we were walking by at 6:50 pm just 10 min before closing and the manager told us to come right in that they serve all the way up to closing. Again, the best customer service in hospitality and a reason i choose to frequent the local establishments. Until last night that is. It was 6:55p and based on previous experiences I was excited to bring my parents visiting from the Carolinas after telling them how amazing this place is. The angry skinhead who was probably the dishwasher or fry cook who met us at the door said they were closed. I only challenged his suggestion because of past experiences and said oh I thought they seated until 7pm. He said "Im the owner and that never happened here". He was rude and disrespectful on every level. What an embarrassment to have someone like this working here. I fear his negative attitude could destroy the morale of all the wonderful people I have met in the past who work here. I just thought you should know so you dont lose more business because of this clown.

It’s a great place for everyone! Offers breakfast, lunch & dinner. You can even have pancakes for dinner if you so desire. On the back wall they have 4 video machines with removable step stools for the kids. The staff are very friendly with the Guests & each other so you can tell that they are happy to be working there. The owners are very “hands on” which makes the place run smoothly. Try it out sometime; you won’t be disappointed.

This place is amazing! I got the Celebration Club and the S’mores Waffle and I was very satisfied! Maddy took very good care of us, her service was great! And this diner is in a very nice area, we walked around after and took pictures by the Christmas tree.

The food was amazing and was worth the wait and it's obviously why it was so busy. Good gluten free options too.

We went here because we wanted to check out the town. The place is nice, they have patio seating over looking the lake. The inside looks like a diner. Our waiter was nice but never came around, especially after the food was served. I had the eggs benedict, and my sister had an omlette. Both dishes, however, were overcooked with the eggs. The benedict eggs were almost hard boiler, and the hollandaise sauce was firm up. The only good part was the thick ham and muffin. My sister's omlette was overdone and dried. The potatoes were also overcooked and dried out.

We’ve enjoyed breakfast at Downtown Diner several times over the last couple of months. Service is always great and food is quite good. The only negative is the loud music. It is impossible to carry on a conversation with the person across the table without shouting, only adding to the already noisy dining area. We’ve even tried sitting outside hoping for less noise to no avail.

Perfect place to fill up your hungry tummy! Nice and homey atmosphere. Madison B was our wonderful server and offered us suggestions on the menu. Food came out hot and delicious! Plenty of seating inside and out. We went on Saturday and there were vendors selling goods on the closed streets. Great little town with an awesome restaurant!
