I stopped here for breakfast because I had to run an errand in this area. The place seemed promising but I have to admit I was really disappointed. I ordered the Pick Me Up breakfast sandwich on sourdough and it was just ok. It tasted bland and dry. I could have paid far less and received the same product at a fast food joint. I ordered a coffee, and even when my food came I did not receive a cup. When I went up to ask for a cup to compete my order, the guy's first response was "Well did you pay for it???" Um yes, I was just at your counter paying for my order, the place isn't crowded, and you just brought me my food. Please don't assume I'm trying to steal your mediocre coffee. I can see why the older crowd here likes it - it's convenient and simple. But I can't say I would recommend it or want to come back.

Food ok, but service was plain terrible - no welcome, certainly no smile by young lady working on Sunday AM on 9/15 and guy making the bagels was worse. This place is need of a real self evaluation....won't be back, obviously they don't care, like they won't care about this review ....better places close by, go there...like Starbucks

I am a resident of celebration, I love coming here with my friends. The staff used to be amazing in helping my friends and I and letting us cool down after hanging out in the hot sun and just getting some food and relaxing. The new staff is horrible. If I have a group of friends with me and one of my friends wanted some starbucks coffee if we bring it in they kick us out. I was here yesterday and a staff member stood and just watched an older employee do all the work and didn’t help or offer to help. I was in pure disgust. This older gentleman was working so hard doing the trash and the employee just WATCHED stood and eyeballed him the whole entire time. I just came in because I wanted a bakery treat but I had a beverage from starbucks he kicked me out now i’m currently sitting outside in the heat. The new staff disgusts me.

This is my second visit. Both have been extremely yummy! The almond cookies are delicious.
This might be a nice sandwich shop I can't say as I didn't have one. I was attracted to this shop on market square in Celebration because it also bills itself as a bakery. Upon entering I spy two nice looking bakery display cases loaded with great looking delicacies. I asked the girl at the counter if these were all made there, she hesitated and the man making sandwiches over in the corner let out a big YES. So I chose, a couple of bagels, two muffins, and two pastries. Coughing up twenty bucks ($20) we went home to enjoy our delicious discovery. Damn it, I should have gone with my gut reaction when the girl hesitated. There is NOTHING made on premise or baked on premise! This is all distributor (Sysco, Cheney, USFoods, PFS, Gordon) delivered either frozen or refrigerated and maybe there are one or two items the place finishes with a dollop of daisey! This is not a bakery! Maybe a sandwich and snack place but don't come here to buy baked goods.

My kids love visiting Sweet Escape and getting to choose a cookie or cake from the fantastic array this bakery always has - our faves are the Boston Creme Pie and Sugar Cookies! I love their brewed coffee which is always fresh and at a good price.
