We stopped after seeing the cafe as we were driving past it on our return vacation trip this morning. We wanted a cafe/diner style breakfast, planned on stopping when we saw one. Entire family thought the food and service was great! Biscuits and gravy, eggs over easy, sausage, bacon, pancakes, egg and cheese sandwich, hash browns, cheese grits…noone was disappointed! It really was the best breakfast we have ever had on a trip! When YOU go, ask for “Biscuit” the waitress! She’s awesome too!
Was not impressed at all, supposed to be a buffet type setting its more like a cafeteria style, they put the food on your plate and then get aggravated when you ask for seconds, dessert and refills were definitely out of the question that particular day, I don't recommend.....
Loaded chef salad was delicious.
Portions were small for the price charged. Shrimp dinner was popcorn shrimp, but didn't indicate that on menu.
Okra and steak fingers were over cooked. It has been better in the past for the price.
Buffet was good, price includes drink and dessert.
Place was clean but waitress was to busy gossiping to do her job! Food was cold because she forgot!!! An another waitress had to get our 2nd cup of coffee after over 10 mins waiting.
Sold out to a Truck Stop to be developed and will close the Restaurant as on the 17th of Nov 2021. Learned at Breakfast yesterday 9 Nov 2021 from "Bisquick" that the owner had sold out to a Truck Stop Organization.
I was driving through and I expected some greasy home style cooking from this place. It was less than average. The fries were overcooked. The burger was probably frozen, maybe for months prior to being cooked. The locals all seemed to know each other and I imagine that's the charm of this place, but if you are driving through and seeking a meal, whataburger is across the street for same price and better quality.
Being from the northern states, this was a new experience for me. The buffet was amazing and the service was awesome.

Food was delicious ( we had the Western omelette and oatmeal), service was great and it looked like a real local full of locally sourced people ? P.S coffee was the bomb
