A delightful experience in a private room for our 10 guests. Most meals were exceptional, but did not provide a vegetarian selection. Service was great and gentleman was fun. We kept him busy, but I wish he would have asked other waitresses to help upon delivery of food. Water glasses not refilled, but drinks kept flowing. We ate at Maurys and also Half Crack and both restaurants were out of 3-4 popular selections. Would try again.

Friendly and thoughtful hospitality, though a few logistic details felt a little unpolished for a restaurant at this price point. The food was hit or miss, with unfortunately more misses. Nothing terrible, just mediocre in creativity and execution.
The West Coast oyster, however, were very good.

Pleasantly greeted by Lizzie, given a VERY COMFORTABLE BOOTH, and was delighted by Joe and his assistant Wait Staff. Joe explained the menu, made suggestions, and ultimately would have been WELCOME TO JOIN US FOR DINNER, he was so inviting!! Thank you, Joe...and the Espresso Martinis...

Dining at Maury’s Steakhouse in Sunseeker Resort is truly an exceptional experience! I went there recently to celebrate a birthday with my family. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a sophisticated yet relaxed ambiance, perfect for a special night out. The decor combines classic elegance with a modern flair, creating a warm and inviting setting with stunning views of Charlotte Harbor.
The menu is impressive, offering a variety of premium cuts and an excellent selection of seafood and sides. Every steak is cooked to perfection, with rich flavors that show the quality of ingredients and the chef’s expertise. The seafood options are also worth mentioning, especially the fresh, locally-sourced dishes that bring a taste of Florida’s coast to the table.
The service is outstanding – attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The staff made great wine pairings, enhancing the flavors of the meal even further. For anyone looking to cap off the night, their dessert options are divine and well worth saving room for! I have provided photos of some of the dishes we had.
Maury’s Steakhouse is the ideal destination for a memorable dining experience, whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a top-notch meal. Highly recommended for those in the Charlotte Harbor area or guests at Sunseeker Resort looking for an unforgettable meal in a beautiful setting.

A little effort and It could be really good. Kitchen needs to step it up and stop using cost cutting measures.
Lobster bisque: should be silky, not watery. If you're going to microwave it prior to service, at least do it in another dish so the over boil isn't noticeable. About 3-4 ounces. No meat.
Filet: ordered Pittsburgh medium rare. Got medium rare. Education on the grill will solve.
French red wine: served at 75°F no decanter.
The atmosphere demands high quality, the service is attentive, but it still feels and tastes like a chain...

We were excited to try this steakhouse and regretted it from the time we sat at our table. The food was not worth the price tag. The service, if you can even call it that, was some of the worst I have ever received. Management is there to smile and nothing else. She provided absolutely no resolution to the issues we brought to her attention.
Save your time and your money. This horribly run restaurant is not work it.

My friends and I (a group of three women, all over 40) were excited to enjoy a nice dinner and drinks at Maury’s while staying at the resort. Unfortunately, our experience was nothing short of disappointing and frustrating.
Upon sitting down, one of my friends was informed by the manager that she couldn’t be served alcohol because she only had a photo of her ID, despite us being resort guests. The manager said she would check with her supervisor and assured us, “it probably won’t be an issue.” However, she left us waiting at the table for 30 minutes without offering us a menu, water, or any updates.
Eventually, fed up with the lack of service, we decided to leave. As we walked out, we noticed the manager standing at the front of the restaurant, laughing and chatting with someone, completely ignoring our situation. When she finally noticed us, she casually said, “Hey ladies, have a good night,” fully aware that we had been waiting half an hour without any resolution.
The level of unprofessionalism, lack of care, and disrespect shown to paying guests is unbelievable. On top of that, their prices are absolutely ridiculous for the experience they provide. We expected a pleasant evening but were met with rude and dismissive behavior. I would strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere. Maury’s is not worth the price or the hassle.

First time to Maury’s steak house. Great quality. We both had the filet. I had the shrimp and my wife had the lobster bisque soup. Best she has had in years. Prices are NY city level so be aware. Dinner for two was over 227 dollars. Seating is a little tough to sit at and enjoy a steak house vibe. I would prefer a good solid table. Not too crowded in the off season. Our waitress was great. Fast and efficient. My steak came out way undercooked which gives indication the kitchen is not your typical streak house experienced cooks.
Food was very filling. Mashed potatoes were great. Mushrooms side was also great.
Deserts menu is weak. Seems the management does not realize it’s Florida and where is the key lime pie or cheesecake?
Overall a great steak house meal. Meat was top shelf compared to chains like Outback or longhorn which to me are not on this level at all.
Given some time the kitchen team will find their grove and cook the filet right the first time. It’s tricky to cook steak when thick but when slow cooked at the right temp you’re getting a great piece of meat. You should try it. Just know it’s pricey compared to other steak houses such as Connors in Estero. And the menu offers little choices of sides and other options.
Enjoy it if you go.

Had dinner at bar. Lovely lounge area and good live music. Service excellent. Shared several items which is a good idea. Crab cakes very good, very little filler, NY strip very tender and cooked perfectly. Excellent lobster mac and cheese and creamed spinach. Most items a bit too salty especially the au poivre sauce. A bit pricey, especially the wine list, there really should be more reasonable selections.

For the price of the food and attention to detail it was not there for me…this steakhouse you can skip. If they want to call themselves an elite steak house and charge those prices then you all have some work to be done.
Glass wear not polished and the placemat was dirty when I sat down. The white bottle of wine we ordered they were out of…bummer settled for a Pinot
We ordered tartar which looked like a flat pancake and the prawns. The tartar had no depth should have capers which were minimal, onions were minimal and egg mixed through no salt or pepper. But to my surprise I found the raw egg on my last bite. Yuck! Prawns are prawns hard to mess up.
2nd course ordered the wedge and French onion both of these dishes were fantastic…if I ever go there again I will sit at the bar and order those to specialties.
Main course wanted the bone in ribeye which they were out of as well as the 10oz filet…how can you call yourself a steakhouse without your top sellers on the menu???? We decided to settle for a 14oz prime ribeye it was ok at best. Did not taste the aging of a prime steak.
My Husband and I drove separately and each of us had to pay 9.00 to get out of the lot. CRAZY during season I can understand off season NO! Or the sever should have asked if we needed validation
All in all not worth the price…would have had a better anniversary at Lonestar at least they would have had our steaks!
