Nice little diner with friendly people. Did not care for all the pepper and what looked like bbq sauce all over my grilled seafood. Could not even taste the fish. A little butter and light seasoning goes a long way on grilled fish. I took it home and washed it all off to make it edible. My husbands fried fish was better, but his FF were cold. I would try this place again with different entrees.

One thing I'll say-if you order a double burger, ask for an extra bun. The burgers taste like beef abd are thick and juicy like mama used to make.

Great food ,very fresh, good location but the service from the front desk was Horrible nasty Attitude eye rolling and very rude 2 young woman that work at the front at that time,I have been to the north side a few times would tell people from leon County about the place to check out but after the last trip and Encount it change my hold out look because it was a nice Establishment with very friendly front desk staff that greeted you with a warm hello and a smile it made you feel at home .

Baked beans were scorched, hair in grits, table was nasty. Service was not good. Waitress (?) never even came back to the table except to bring food, no drink refills, no bill. I leaned against the table and the picture of my shirt is attached to this review.

My burger was not done. My fries were not done. Bread is too thick. The cashier had a nasty attitude. The floor was nasty. The air was nasty. Gave me two end pieces on my burger. Would not recommend nobody to this place, it needs to be shut down. Burnt chicken.
I knew from the number of people coming in and out as we drove by that this was the small town favorite; and I can taste why! The place was cheerfully packed on a Saturday afternoon with customers of all ages. I ordered the catfish plate with cheese grits and a side salad, while my husband had the shrimp and scallops and potato salad. The efficient and friendly waitress assured us the potato salad would not disappoint, and she was right! Recommend a raise for the chef (and owner). We'll be back next time we're in town. Thanks, y'all!

Shrimp was the edible but soggy. Fish fillet had bones. Coleslaw had too much pickle relish. Baked potato small. Overall, will not be returning.

We love the fried nile perch dinner. You can’t go wrong with that here! The side items are freshly made and good as well. Oh and dont pass up the cakes! They are delicious!

This place may be ok for fried chicken tenders or fried shrimp but absolutely falls short on baked chicken. My friend and I both ordered baked chicken breasts for our dinners, unfortunately. One was an average sized breast that was overcooked and dry. The other one was the same except that its tiny size left it barely edible. It was sent back. Eventually the owner brought back the same piece of chicken that had been hammered flat with additional seasoning added. I have never before been to a restaurant that took so little pride in its food. Awful, simply awful!
