We were passing thru and stopped for lunch. This is not fancy, but a qaint hometown restaurant. Great food. Order from the menu or buffet. Country fried chicken, pot roast and meatloaf. Everything we had was delicious.Very friendly place. Owner came out and talked with us as we were new.Can't go wrong here.

My wife had the crispy chicken sandwich And I got the buffet. beef tips, baked chicken, chicken and dumplings were great as well as all of the sides. Also add a salad bar and cookies and cream dessert. Nothing to complain about all was great!

I live here in Chipley and have had the pleasure of dining here several times. Each time, the food was excellent and more than enough to eat. The hamburgers are cooked to order and are huge. The fries come out fresh and hot. Brought my wife here recently and had her try it, and she absolutely loved it. She did not think she could eat everything but said it was too good to leave anything.I have not tried anything but the burger, but why mess with perfection. I definitely would recommend this place.My only wish is you were open on Saturday so I could get up there for breakfast or open later so I could come for dinner. But that is me being selfish. It really is that good. Keep up what you are doing and how you are doing it.

Basic Country Fare. Sandwiches, and a small Buffet. A couple of meats and vegetables. Ordered a club sandwich and was surprised it was $11 without any sides. Owner was walking by when I asked about that, went on a rant about how everything was expensive these days and people should quit complaining about costs! The club sandwich was a large sandwich as he said, but was more like a ham and turkey sandwich than a club. Generous amounts of generic ham and turkey, also lettuce, tomato, very small amount of cheese and bacon. Bread was not toasted and sandwich was cut in half. Part of a club is its presentation; crispy bread cut into quarters, and enough bacon to taste. Large sandwich, mediocre flavor. Had a side of sweet potato with the sandwich, $4. $15 for a sandwich with fries.

Very friendly service and a great burger. There is a buffet, but I had to try the burger. I went with 7oz on sourdough, cheddar, grilled onions-peppers-mushrooms, with a fried egg on top. Sweet potatoes fries are a $4.00 add. They were ok. I am a big fan of sweet potato fries and these were average at best. The burger was phenomenal. $12 on the burger made your way. Choice of buns, cheese and lots of toppings. Go with water and no fries if you aren't wanting to spend too much. I did tea, burger and fries that landed me at $25 with tip. That was high, but no complaints on the burger.

It's a quaint little place that was decorated for Halloween but pleasant inside. Burger choices (toppings were included) was excellent. We had the 7oz burger. Careful...it's big. They came out in 10 minutes. The service was very good. They returned several times to refresh our drinks, and gave the check so we didn't have to wait. I hope this place is successful! We've been there at least 5 times from Panama City. We will keep coming back!
