Not fancy or flashy. Just some really tasty Southern food in a quiet and relaxed, unassuming restaurant. Buffet style. The fried tilapia was some of the best I have had in years anywhere. Not over fried and not over spiced. The rutabeggas i just cannot get back home in Tucson. Thanks for the old school southern hospitality and good food. What a nice luch for my Moms 88th birthday. Kudos! Ya'll.

Stay away from this place.
15.00 lunch buffet. No salad bar. No desert bar. Had no butter. No coffee creamer. No diet drinks.
Bathroom was filthy.
Food sucked.

Stopped here on a road trip. Was a little afraid to go in at first, but once I did, I found the nicest people and great food.

Very southern a nice quiet place for lunch. The service was great but the food was very very bland and not very good. Not very much to choose from for $15 a person I expect more.

The food was horrible. I honestly hate to say that about a small town place that is trying to make it but it just was. Sadly the food was very bland with no seasoning what so ever and luke warm at best. Will not be back!

No Whammies

Foods on Buffet were not up to temp, if at all warm. Out of diet pepsi. Server was very attentive and always had drinks topped off. Price of $15 was high for the amount of food and quality.

The food could be better but it's was okay. The little girl who does the buffet is so sweet and does very good job.

Very over priced, outdated basic buffet that was hospital, nursing home quality food. Everything lacked seasoning and a few things were even cold. It is buffet only that is $15.99 for cash, $16.99 for card, per person. Customer service was good.

Laid back country bunkin' vibe. Best broccoli casserole I have ever had. Very friendly country folk and all you can eat. You will enjoy and appreciate their vibes.

I admit that after reading all of the reviews which raved about this place, we were disappointed. The food was okay but absolutely nothing special.
The real mashed potatoes and gravy were the best thing on the buffet! At first or fried fish was just mushy but they did bring out fresh fish and then it was better. The fruit on the salad bar which is very minimal was only canned fruit cocktail. And the worst part was it the restaurant building is extremely old and in disrepair with the leaky roof and the flooring was horrible! The building was very dirty and the restroom was very dirty.
We decided we would not go there again if we were ever passing through chipley on our way to Pensacola again. For the two of us , our bill was $33.

Just went today. Food was not good. Everything looks old and dated. There were only a few people in the restaurant not like it use to be. I know now why I don't eat buffets. Terrible.
