My husband and I both had scallops and cheese grits. I had grilled and he had fried and the cheese grits were excellent. They were really good and the portions were huge! As an appetizer we had smoked tuna dip and it was delicious. The sweet tea was not too sweet, it was just right, 10/10...We will likely make it a regular place for when we go out to eat. Also, there was music playing but it was not so loud we couldn't hear each other talking, which was also nice.
I really enjoyed my meal at this place. I wish them the best of success. The onion rings... fried shrimp... fried okra... all of it was so good. This food is NOT poured out of a bag and cooked, and it shows. I was asked if my steak was cooked correctly and how my food was. They care about your experience, so if you don't say anything to them, it's your own fault for not letting them make it right. I will ABSOLUTELY come back when passing through this way again.
First time I visited...wanted to give them some time to get acclimated with new restaurant. I will say it is small and I can see them having to move to a bigger space soon! Food was excellent! Service needs work. 3 people in the front but all seemed confused and didn't know who waited on who or what drink orders was done or not yet. No certain person assigned to certain tables so lots of confusion. My appetizer took forever and came out with my food. Didn't eat it because...
