We shop at Whole Foods because they have some items that you can't find elsewhere like the title of this review. This is the only place that has decent sourdough bread east of San Francisco. The fact that they also have a great meat & seafood department and the fact that you can get a glass of wine to drink while you shop puts this market head & shoulders above the competition. They also have a fantastic buffet with many types of food & soups. Their wine department also has some cheese I can't seem to find elsewhere. During the pandemic, everything we ate in our home came to us either from Instacart or Amazon Prime delivery which was a lifesaver. If you've never shopped at Whole Foods you really need to give it a try.

Nice selection of organic fresh fruit & veggies along with prime meats BUT they are overpriced for what you get! I prefer Fresh Market just down US19 about 1/4 mile. Better baked goods, ethnic foods and a much nicer store appearance.

This was the biggest Whole Foods I ever saw. The staff was just so warm and friendly. I was floored ! I was ready to BUY everything I saw. This place is a heck of a supermarket. Wish it was in my Neighborhood. My local store has changed and not for the Better. My store is in Aventura FL.

Great roasted coffe flavor even for my decaf! Located at front of registers in Whole Foods Market.

This is a huge grocer chain specializing in the unique and specialty foods you see on TV and on the web and never can find the ingredients. This is where they are hidden. You have to balance needs and wants with finances. I agree with many others that some items are above the market value in this area, on the other hand two things come to mind. Point One: With a diversified menu such as mine, I cook in about six venues, I can literally find items at one place that might support a Hot tasting Lao or Thai dish, J*** foods, Stuffed Cabbage, Cordone-Blu. a Barbecue or a Bar-mitzvah. Countries the government, the Air Force sent me to. The money I save not driving all over town is worth it plus safety. I live in Florida and during the winter season, some of our visitors I'm thinking drive by sound. They do stop when they hear the crash... Perhaps It's better explained by saying something for everyone. If you can't find it here you might have to go to a place that caters to that particular ethnicity or culture. For most this might not be acceptable since most people don't like to shop where the food is starring at you more than you are starring at it. Point two: most of their items are top choice and devoid of some of those chemicals we might be better off doing without. And much of what I see on display is in very nice condition, they cull the bad ones and the selection is ample. The aisles are loaded with brands and condiments you see on recipes on the web or TV and can't find at you local supermarket. In three of our regular grocery stores, no one had Nori or good Sushi rice. Sushi rice is glutenous short grains to stay sticky. Just an example. Many of the sushi condiments in grocery stores like fish flakes and specific items or fish types are not brands one finds there. If I had the time I could get lost in there for days, a little more expensive but when delving in unique cooking you need a unique store, I do recommend it for the reasons stated and do shop their often. Having a source and combining it with volume staples from the warehouse crew is just good business and i run my house just like my restaurant training I had which got me through schools of higher learning.

If I am preparing a meal and I cannot find an ingredient or two - I can always find it at Whole Foods. The staff is very helpful! I do not shop there for all my groceries, it is quite pricey. I do recommend it highly.

Lots of yuppie choices here, but very expensive......NOT very user-friendly......do NOT go here on a budget.

I was impressed with the many items that were available. My selections tasted good, however I thought it was expensive. The food is sold by weight and I did not have a lot of food.

After visiting this Whole Foods location in Clearwater I experienced absolutely reprehensible customer service. While interacting with an employee I have never felt so unappreciated, disrespected, and humiliated while shopping at a grocery store. He was a male associate, dark hair with glasses, I think his name was Damion or Damon? I was so upset I could barely see straight. Not only the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered but leaving a store feeling like you did something wrong or you were “bothering” the employees by being present is unacceptable. Thank you for your wonderful attitude and commitment to the Whole Foods customer service experience, your attitude reflects the company as a whole! (NOT)….. I will never return to this location or any other Whole Foods ever again.

The lunch and coffee bars are amazing and it’s a great spot for fresh and organic products. It’s vegetarian heaven here! The only downside is it’s a little bit pricey.
