Applebee's Grill + Bar

The dining experience is usually very good at this Applebee's. Octavia, Jason and Mike are a few of the very good servers. Yesterday the service was terrible. It was crowded and the server on this day appeared to be new. Once the food was delivered she never came back to check on how it was or offer refills. We had to keep trying to get her attention and finally got her to come over after about 45 minutes without drinks. She brought us refills after that... Explained french fries were cold and were supposed to be made without salt/seasoning but were fully salted. She offered to get more french fries but we were already done eating. She was supposed to return to the table when we were almost done eating and take a to go order but never showed up. We were finally able to place the to go order long after we were finished eating. The server apologized. We did try to find someone to get the manager but we're unable to do so. The server was nice but seemed overwhelmed. She also was given a table of about 14 people after we had finished our meals. I had to explain to her about entering a coupon code we had for $10 off, as she was unaware of how to do this. It seems the server could have used more training and support from management. We do understand that it was busy but a server should not ignore a table after their food is delivered. It was a very long night and not the usual service provided at this Applebee's.

So I go to Applebee's across the state and Rosa made my quesadilla and they were hands down the best ones I've ever had. The other stores should learn from her. Good job Rosa. Thxs for the delicious food

Great service

I would like to thank Applebee's for continuing to offer a free meal on Veteran's Day. It is appreciated. They did a very nice job with the decorations and at the US19/Curlew location and it was staffed well to keep up with all the guests. It was very busy, not an open table, and the staff was hustling and friendly. After a very short wait of 10 min., Olivia was our server and was excellent. Our food was brought out to order and hot for all 4 of us. My bacon cheeseburger was very good along with the fiesta lime chicken and chicken quesadilla. The steak was a little tough but cooked to order.
Thank you again for supporting veterans and active duty service members.

Stacy is really great. Excellent service. Right on top of things. Very friendly. Knows all her customers likes and dislikes and remembers everything about them and has regulars that go back just for her service. Drinks stay full and food orders come quick and hot. She's got a great laugh and sense of humor. She's the perfect hostess. Stop in and say hello. Get to know this wonderful lady.

The host seated us very nice young man seated us, we waited and and he finally came over apologized and took our drin order and appetizer order. After 10 minutes the server came up and asked if someone took our drink order, I had to ask if we could give our entree order. We specifically asked her if there was sauce on the noodles with the chicken parmasan. She replied yes there was Alfredo sauce. When we both got our entrees the noodles were DRY and absolutely no sauce at all, it looked as if it had been sitting under the warmer for quite a while. I finally flagged her down and asked for sauce she brought a SMALL container of Alfredo sauce. We asked for 2 boxes and she asked us if we wanted another container of sauce to go. After all this she brings the bill and we find out she charged us $3.49 for the sauce that was SUPPOSED to be on the entrees in the first place. We payed the bill and we did tip her over 20% because that's the kind of people we are.
We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and we're so disappointed!
I will be calling the manager regarding this. We ended up feeding the food to our dog. The appetizers were good, our drinks were never refreshed or never even offered to be refreshed.
Just extremely poor service and food! The only person that stepped up was the host.

Thought it was worth sharing that I had a great experience at this applepiece tonight. We ordered a pretty good sized meal to go.What I was impressed with is when I went to pick it up.I told him I went to check my order.So the gentleman actually pulled every item out and went line by line to make sure all my food was correct. Which I was very thankful. No issues with the order. I appreciated Corey taking the time to help confirm the meal. Great job.

I had the worst service of my life at this restaurant Tuesday October 14th. The restaurant was empty and still it took 25 minutes to get our check. Food was over cooked and dry. The poor bartender was stuck doing everything while the server hid in the back. DON'T DINE HERE

Applebees is a 3 star restaurant, always has been, always will be. They took the $1 mixed drink away after Covid and they took the 3 for $12 appetizers away, now they suck. Before they sucked a little, without the specials they suck alot.
