Bacon Street Diner is by far our families favorite restaurant. It is the diner of regular choice. The food is ALL Fabulous. The scratch kitchen is a game changer. We love how we know the owners, the waiters and waitresses all take personal interest in us. We love the fresh food daily. I am gluten sensitive and they guard me like one of their own. The choices for me are incredible. This is by far the best Fresh scratch American Diner we have ever experienced.
Scrumptious food, excellent service.

Attached to a mall and really nothing like a mall food court or food experience at all. The service was great, the place is super clean and well run and the food was so delicious. The options are pretty expansive. If I lived in the area it would be a regular spot for me.

If you're in Tampa and haven't been here, you're missing out! Shannon has the best attitude, and her boyfriend got her the best bacon earrings - Nice job. She made our day better by her excellent service. The food is nothing short of phenomenal. If you get breakfast, get a hot chocolate!! Way to go Shannon!!!

We were absolutely delighted with this place as a brunch location. $1 mimosas! Multiple flavors. And the Lox Bene was insane! We will definitely be back.

The hostess seating us was kinda rude and disorganized so we (2 people) waited for 20 minutes while all sorts of other people were seated. The $2 egg surcharge was annoying. The service was okay but a bit neglectful. The food was okay but maybe a bit bland. We were there for Sunday brunch and it was busy and noisy.

This is our second time enjoying the Bacon Street Diner, the first was 12 months ago. I say this, because I can't believe my wife and I waited a year to comeback. The food is wonderful, a year ago, I had the Western Bacon Burger, and it was outstanding! My wife had the Mighty Chicken Sandwich, and said it was the best she has had in a very long time. Then life kicked in and it took us a year to get back (we only live in St. Pete, I know... it is sad).
Anyhow, let's get to last night. My wife and I were once again in the area and quickly found our way to Bacon Street, and boy are we glad. We sat at the bar, where Zeke took care of us. I order an Old Fashion and my wife had a Chardonnay. We ordered a side of Bacon Slaw (Awesome!), it had a perfect coleslaw taste but better (BACON!). Zeke talked about the specials (very good selection, but I focused on the Pastrami special, and I'm glad I did. My wife chose the Bacon Grilled Cheese Club, and said it was simply the best she has ever had. The portion size is large (we took half of it home that evening... it didn't last long once we arrived home, and she said, it even taste better). Finally, we ordered the Apple Crumble Pie to go. We had that this morning, what a wonderful way to start your morning.
Bottom Line: I highly recommend Bacon Street Diner, my wife and I won't wait so long to come back either, I'm looking forward to making a special trip to try their breakfast menu, it looked just wonderful.
One other thing. I noticed that most of the staff working were there a year ago. That says something else as well. That says the restaurant is managed well and you can tell. Good on ya, Bacon Street.
Parking: It was a Saturday evening, and busy, but it was still easy to find parking (it's in a mall, so there is plenty)
Kid-friendliness: Very friendly. The part that had the wheel chair and walker were able to use a room off of the main dinning room. They had several children and you really couldn't tell. No additional noise.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is on the ground floor and very accessible for wheelchairs and walkers. In fact we saw other dinners using both a walker and a wheelchair.

BEST Chicken and Waffles we have ever tasted!!! Get the powdered sugar and strawberries with them. I could only do half a Bacon and Waffle Tower. FANTASTIC taste! The Chiken Tenders are the TENDEREST ones we have ever had as Well. Service is phenomenal, always too. This is my second visit but we will be back often...give it a try!
