Amazing food and amazing service like usual! Lunch time definitely more enjoyable “loudness wise” because it's not as crowded as per dinner time.....

Always a wonderful experience for special occasions. Sommelier is well educated and helpful. The service is impeccable but not stuffy and impersonal.

Emily was our server, and she did an outstanding job. Everyone from the hostess in front To all the supporting staff, you did a great job.

Great food at a reasonable price. Seated at reservation time. Service was outstanding and food was delicious. We will be back for sure.

Will was a fantastic server. Bascom's is getting pricey and may be more suitable for a business account. However, it is quite loud if you want to discuss business. The food tasted good. Ours was a birthday celebration and it was very nice of them to offer a dessert from their menu. We also appreciated the round table for our party of 5.

A wonderful meal last night was a last-minute decision following a flight delay nearby airport. Walked in seated at a table in the bar room. Kim was our server. Wonderful all around! Have eaten here several times but she had so many interesting and perfect menu options that were all new to me. She definitely knows her stuff! Our party enjoyed the Wagu Ribeye, the braised, beef and cheese ravioli special, and the chicken marsala. Appetizers wonderful house salad resembling Columbia‘s famous 1905, and Stone crab appetizer two claws, two dipping sauces, and plenty of squeezed lemon. Dessert included the blueberry special crum cheesecake, chocolate, ice cream, and Bananas foster their house specialty. Wish I could remember the name of one of our party’s cocktails, it was presented to the table in a fantastic wooden box which when opened a barbecued smoke billowed out from it. A bourbon drink perhaps? Have been to numerous restaurants in the Tampa Bay area and Bascom’s hands-down has over-the-top phenomenal service start to finish. Thank you to everyone for a lovely evening meal.

Very good steak but had zero fat around the edges to give it flav. Asked for more charcoal/smokey flavor but they didn't do it. Good quality meat, just not the extra good flavor which is important to us.

Had a wonderful dinner experience at the bar. Randi the bar tender was kind of enough to check the kitchen for a special order we requested and the food was perfect.

Overall, very very disappointing experience. Starting with reservation, reserving table for two. Followed up with phone call to confirm reservation. Asked for quiet private table to celebrate birthday. Was specifically asked if I wanted a booth or not. Opted for no booth. Arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes early. Was promptly Seated in a booth table set for four. Only positive experience at this dinner was the wine stewed. Knowledgeable and attentive. Service was mediocre, after asking for a couple of minutes was left for like 15 minutes unattended. Food was well presented, but absolutely boring and bland. Chilean Seabass absolutely no seasoning, bland and boring. Salmon so bland, no seasoning and dry, to the point that we send it back after one bite. Only to be replaced by a simple Caesar salad. Which was so undramatic and sad that it was pitiful. Was looking very much forward to a well rated dining experience that turned in to a ones and never again!

Wonderful restaurant with delicious food and service was exceptional. It was just a wee bit noisy and at times hard to hear the conversation at our own table.

Service was over the top especially Savannah our server. A table of three we moved from next to the bar to a quiet cozy corner. It was a pretty boisterous Friday night. I had the shrimp risotto . The risotto was more mushy than creamy, the shrimp large but salty. I'm not sure they were fresh. My companions had the baked grouper and the scallops. I know right? A chophouse and we order seafood. The grouper was cooked in chunks and came in a casserole dish, but my companion said it was tasty and the scallops were delicious as usual according to her husband. The Caesar salad was limp and uninspired also stingy in size. The dressing was not tangy or zesty as when fresh lemon is used. The desserts were yummy , and the drinks were generous and expertly crafted. We spent an enjoyable two hours and $350 for 3 entrées, two salads, two orders of bread which was delicious perfectly crusty, two desserts, 3 cocktails and two glasses of wine.

We needed something to get us to the weekend. So we went to bascoms to change the day. Fried lobster was great, as usual. I had tenderloin tips with pasta. Such a large portion it will be lunch tomorrow too. My wife had bacon wrapped filets. Very tasty. Scott was attentive and friendly. Took his lunch suggestion and was glad I did. All in all a great lunch to upgrade the week.

We asked for and received a quiet nook. It was perfect! Rachel, the hostess accommodated our change in number of guests--thank you. The grouper was delicious.
