The food is good — if you’ve never had Japanese skewers or Japanese classics (if you’re not necessarily looking for sushi) this place has a solid foundation in it. The atmosphere is similar to an izakaya (Japanese bar) but is decorative and kid friendly otherwise. I’m not sure how long the establishment has been open, but I think location wise no one would have issues with parking. I ordered the Japanese Beef Curry and a Kirin Draft beer. The curry was really disappointing. The curry flavor was very light as if it was barely there. The beef was poorly braised and wasn't fork tender. The temperature of the dish was strange. The beef and curry gravy were lukewarm while large chunks of carrot and potatoes weren't warm at all. Honestly, the best part of the meal was the Kirin draft beer.
