2/14/26 — Food is decent but INSANELY overpriced. $125 Valentine’s Day dinner includes salad, choice of entree (NY strip, filet mignon, seafood platter or the lobster tails and choice of potato (baked, french fries or Au Gratin).
Service was wonderful, atmosphere is nice and the live piano is nice but nowhere near worth the $300+ for a couple.
As others have said when it’s not a holiday their menu is very plain with your choice of protein cost $78 and potato extra $12 and veggies for $14.
Just be prepared to drop $250+ on a mediocre meal you’re better off going to Crabby’s or Frenchy’s for a better meal and much, much cheaper!

Beachcomber Restaurant in Clearwater was amazing! The staff was incredibly accommodating and Jeff was an outstanding waiter—friendly, attentive, and truly made the experience special. It was also my birthday, and the Baked Alaska was hands-down the best dessert I’ve ever had. Great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

It’s very sad for us to give this one star review, Because this has been a place, we have Frequented for many, many years, and would be considered almost regulars. On coming in this season, we were going to order our favorite, delicious roast chicken. Not sure of the exact price, but I believe It was normally 30/35 dollars for chicken, potatoes, gravy, stuffing, coleslaw, and a vegetable. We were told that the Price had now gone to $40 but here’s the kicker… It’s only the chicken now. If you want potatoes and gravy, that’s an extra 10 bucks, if you want vegetable that’s an extra 12 to 14 bucks. No mention of coleslaw or dressing anymore. So to get a roast chicken dinner with the fixings, bwould be almost $70! Don’t get me wrong, We don’t mind spending good money for good food. But $70 for a chicken dinner is absolutely absurd!! And regarding the atmosphere, after the hurricanes, it was left with a horrible smell of mildew/mold that is Horrible for me. My husband doesn’t notice it as much as I do, but I am very sensitive to that odor. Again, very sad to leave this review, but someone’s not paying attention to things that really matter to the clientele.

What's a spooky good time! Melanie and Matt were absolutely amazing. They also took the time to show us the private vip area in the back and what an amazing atmosphere that was. The ghost story ending was a cherry on top.
10/10 if your looking for a dinner that scare you flavor and display, this is the place.
Thank you for an amazing experience

Exquisite dining experience. Loved the piano playing as you got served. Generous portion of their salad. Had some lobster dish split with a friend with asparagus as a side. Great evening to end Clearwater as our final dinner out.

The atmosphere is incredible. Old school piano bar from the 50's. The menu is decent but limited and a little overpriced. We had an excellent wedge salad. The crab cakes that were a little bland. The seafood platter was good. Very tasty grouper and scallops. The red snapper was great also. The asparagus was well liked by our group.
They had a great selection of whiskey and the bartender had a heavy pour.
We shared key lime pie for dessert. The flavor was excellent but the crust was too hard.
Overall we enjoyed ourselves and even sang along with the piano!

Nice meal is a place where there aren't a lot of nice places. Shrimp cocktail and NY Strip were excellent.

Our server, Melanie, was outstanding! We had a larger group with lots of demands and she was so quick and flexible and understanding of our needs while being SO friendly. Thank you Melanie!

If I could give this place negative stars I gladly would. We came for New Years dinner. The entire experience from the second we walked in was horrible. We had 15 of the 19 people there exactly at 5. They refused to sit us until everyone was there which was 40 minutes because of traffic. All 3 hostess’ were all so rude. The manager walked around barking orders at the staff never once actually helping by running food, drinks or cashing people out. The menu was extremely small and $125 a person for a salad, unseasoned steak and a potato. All of our food came out different times and had absolutely no flavor. The restaurant was packed with people standing because they refused to seat people until entire parties were there. We were stuck in there for 3 hours. We were required to put a $300 deposit down a month ago to reserve tables for 19. Do not waste your money or time. You could Not pay me to ever step foot in this place again. This place was horribly run.

Quality and service has gone down over the years. Not to mention the menu selection and variety does not stand behind the prices. I was there for my daughter’s Bday ; the filet mignon was dry as a rock and when replaced with a clam chowder a piece of parchment paper was found in the soup. Terrible experience and will not go back any time soon. I guess the owner needs a wake up call or she will be closing the place soon.

We come here a lot it’s one of our favorite places to eat. We were disappointed today eating there after the menu has changed since the last time we were in. First the only kid meal was chicken fingers our kids really like the burgers but they were out tell Friday which is weird as we went on a Tuesday. But our bill surprised us because each kids chicken finger meals came out to 40 dollars each which is just crazy for kids chicken tenders and fries. I know prices have gone up but that’s not right we have been to many fancy reastraunts that don’t even come close to that for a kids meal. All there dinner items now don’t come with a side or a salad as they used to and again I no a lot of places don’t at this price range but it’s just disappointing the changes that have happened.

I have eaten here before and couldn’t wait to come back. Unfortunately things have changed. The physical set up is still attractive, the server was pleasant. However the reason I was so looking forward to is no longer there. It was a classic dining experience with an appetizer type relish feature. The menu has been limited to what it once was, missing some classics like veal Marsala. I had the jumbo lobster tails. Their definition of jumbo and mine are quite different. My wife and son in law had the fried chicken which they enjoyed and came with two sides. My lobster and my daughter entree only came with one. Didn’t quite understand that. The food was good, but my expectations were not met, therefore I don’t need to rush back here unfortunately.
Five couples and two singles walked into a restaurant after a long day of conferences and… Shared a lot of jokes, drinks, delicious food (I had the snapper and green beans), and great convo and recommendations from our servers. Also a hat tip (& real tip) to the pianist!
