Our food was very good, except for the fillet mignon. The waiter asked how our food was, my husband said his lobster was great but the steak was tough. The waiter said nothing! This was our first time at this restaurant. Unfortunately, we won't be back.
What a walk down memory lane this is!!! We haven’t been to Bobby’s Bistro, or its more upscale sister restaurant the Beachcomber in years. Twenty years ago, these two restaurants were the absolute “It” place, the best in Tampa.Amazingly, the decor is exactly the same as 20 years ago but somehow doesn’t look dated at all. The food was fantastic. We met George, our server, who is a bit of a celebrity, and he was super nice and gave me a supersized shot! Glad to give this...

Bobby’s Bistro sits behind its more famous sire, Heilman’s Beachcomber. Heilman’s has been there for generations and was always the habitue of older seniors. When Bobby’s Bistro opened it seemed to have a (slightly) younger vibe. Today there seems to be no difference between Heilman’s and Bobby’s. The menus are exactly the same.
Bobby’s is clean and comfortable and service is professional. Food prices are high-ish....
