The Clearwater Burger Kings are the worst run restaurants I've ever seen. Employees all look like they haven't showered or washed their clothes in weeks. They don't even turn their outside lights on so they can get less business at night. Food is always dried out and cold. Never going back to any burger king in Clearwater.

Very dirty, puddles on the floor by soda machine, absolutely disgusting ladies restroom with no tp. One employee napping for 30 minutes while I was eating, and mo attempts to clean the place. Fries were good, though.

I recently purchased a double whopper with fries. The whopper meat patties were dry and had little to no condiments on it. It was a very poor sandwich.

This BK has alot going for it, good service and solid food. Everyone was helpful and made it an easy experience. Wasn't another soul in there though, not sure how they stay open, and we were there right at the height of lunch time.

I haven't had very good luck at Burger King lately (by LATELY I mean in the last SEVERAL YEARS!), but one of my Aunts' gave me a Burger King gift card for Christmas so I decided to use it tonight. Mistake! I was at the Burger King drive thru in Clearwater, FL at about 10:10 PM. The order girl comes on the intercom and says "Welcome to Burger King- YOU RULE, I'll be back to take your order shortly." O.K. (I RULE!!!) LOL, LOL, LOL! She comes back and I asked for "Your tiny, little fish sandwich, cooked freshly, fries no salt, and a medium Coke (even though I MUCH prefer Pepsi.) She read it back to me and asked me to pull forward. (I was the only customer at the restaurant) When she opened the service window and took my gift card I said "I'm sorry, I forgot to ask for EXTRA LETTUCE AND TARTAR SAUCE AND NO PICKLES, please." (NO PICKLES!!!) She asked me to pull around to the front of the building to wait as my food was being cooked freshly. (even though I was the only customer at the restaurant) After a couple minutes an older guy with greying hair walked out of the front door and handed me a sack. I said "Thanks" and drove away. I drove over to the mall parking lot so I could eat my food while it's still warm. I open my fish sandwich and it has pickles! IT EVEN LOOKS LIKE EXTRA PICKLES!!! WTF!!! (I used to LOVE the Burger King WHALERS when I was a kid and then P.C. killed that name. Then Burger King re-named their fish sandwich the BIG FISH! Then about 20 years ago they reduced the size of their fish sandwich by about 50%, added PICKLES to it (BLEECHHH!) and STILL TRIED TO CONTINUE CALLING IT A BIG FISH SANDWICH!!! Like their customers are IDIOTS and don't notice the difference!!!) I drove back to the restaurant, stopped at the service window and asked for the manager. The same guy who brought me my food 15 minutes earlier came to the window and I said "I asked for no pickles (he then interrupted me and said "They put pickles on your fish") I said "It looks like they put EXTRA PICKLES ON IT" The manager immediately walked away from the window with no further conversation and disappeared into the kitchen. ??? I asked another young guy (I think it was the cook who screwed-up my order) "Uh, where did he go?" "The cook said it's gonna take 3-4 minutes to make you a new sandwich" I said "I don't want another sandwich- I pulled the pickles off that one and ate it- I just want to go home." The cook went and told the manager what I said and the manager walked over to the window and said "What do you want if you don't want another sandwich?" I said "Well, #1 I thought you would want to know your employee made my food wrong." The manager said "Well, he just misunderstood." HOW DO YOU MISUNDERSTAND "NO PICKLES"??? The manager seemed to be more interested in defending his employee's screw-up rather than trying placate an UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER! The manger said "What do you want YOUR MONEY BACK? (By now I am very aware that this guy has an attitude and that I, THE CUSTOMER, am bothering him because I came back and said something about my order being wrong. I said "I want you to do whatever YOU THINK IS APPROPRIATE to take care of YOUR CUSTOMER." He said "So you want your money back" (with more attitude!) He then said "So, you just wanted to come back and COMPLAIN!" Uh, yeh - YOU SCREWED-UP! I said "Forget it, I will call the corporate office" The manager said "FINE" and slammed the SERVICE window shut. Burger King no longer operates a "customer service" phone number. My guess is they just don't want to be bothered by the FLOOD of complaints they were getting every day. I know when I did call that number in the past there was ALWAYS a 15, 20, 30 minute wait time because their "service representatives" were so constantly busy!
