A good place for breakfast at the Hilton. The outdoor seating was good, the service was okay, the breakfast buffet was okay. The outdoor seats need to be cleaned since most are covered in bird poop. Nice beach view.

🌟 5-Star Review for Carambola at the Hilton Clearwater Beach 🌟
“The only thing hotter than the Florida sun was the service at Carambola!”

Let me just say... if you’re staying at the Hilton Clearwater Beach and don’t stop into Carambola, you’re doing your entire vacation wrong. Seriously. Reevaluate your choices.

We rolled in hungry, mildly sunburned, and honestly questioning if we even liked each other after a long day at the beach. But within five minutes of sitting down, all our problems melted away like butter on a pancake (which they do have, by the way.. delicious ones).

Our waitress Taylor was an absolute gem. She had the energy of a triple-shot espresso and the charm of someone who’s clearly too good for this planet. Not only was she handling our table like a pro, but she was also training a new employee, Cynthia, who was also fantastic. Together they were like a buddy-cop movie, but instead of fighting crime, they were fighting off our hunger and thirst with relentless kindness and amazing recommendations.

Taylor was so on point, I honestly started wondering if she secretly owned the place. And Cynthia? If that was “in training,” then I can’t wait to come back when she’s fully powered up. She was sweet and very attentive.

The food? Slapped. Everything came out hot, fresh, and plated like it was about to walk onto the Food Network stage.

Long story short:
📍 Location: Beachfront perfection.
🍽️ Food: 10/10 would eat until I can’t move.
👩‍🍳 Service: Taylor and Cynthia are national treasures.
🎉 Vibe: Chill, breezy, with a side of “I’m never leaving.”

Go to Carambola. Ask for Taylor. Tell her the weirdly enthusiastic table said hi. 😄

I had Sea Bass for the first time, and it was amazing! Best fish I've had yet. The atmosphere was super relaxing, and the service was great!

The following review was written by my 11 year old:
The seats had bird poop on them and it took like 20 minutes but the guy serving us was very nice but over all not the best.

My family and I are staying at the hotel and we are Hilton Gold members, we had lunch for the first time yesterday at the restaurant and everything was fine, we had breakfast in the morning and it was fine, but at dinner today everything was a total failure, first of all they brought the entire order of appetizers with the main course at the same time, that is, half of the food got cold, add to that the house soup I ordered was a cream and the panini, my God, a total failure made with Cuban bread and regular tomato and a cost of $ 20.00 at lunch I went to Starbucks because that is one of my favorite sandwiches and the one at Starbucks is 200 times better, the first day we ordered a delicious Cuban sandwich today at dinner my husband ordered one and it was a disaster the roast pork was never seen it was more ham than anything else anyway we have other days left at the hotel and we will only go to breakfast because we will not return and even less on today's shift 12/07/24 it is a shame it is really worth noting that the waiter was very kind despite bringing all food at the same time and the restaurant was practically empty, but this kitchen's shift was really not worth it.

Hats off to the chef!! I just had the best cream of mushroom soup ever!! I know that sounds like a weird soup to rave over but it’s so damn good! Big chunks of mushroom and there was an amazing depth of flavor in the base. Short ribs was my entree… it was melt in your mouth goodness!! It had whipped potatoes and brussels for side. Everything went well together!! Would have dined in if we weren’t under the weather, so we could tell the chef dinner was great :)

Ice place to eat. You can sit outside and watch the sunset and over looking Toomys Tiki bar. Food was good. No vomplaints. A bit formal on the inside.

Breakfast is al la carte on weekdays (in quiet times) with a buffet on weekends.Lunch menu has plenty of options and the food is decent. Prices are typically Hiltonesque, but if using the credit, becomes very reasonable. There's an outside terrace or you can eat indoors.

We live in the area and asked before coming if we could dine at this restaurant without staying at the hotel and we’re told yes and that they would validate our parking ticket. We had a delightful meal with the best server I have seen in a long time (shout out to Brook)! I definitely recommend the Mediterranean plate appetizer. However, on our way out I approached the front desk to validate our parking ticket and was scolded for how long we took to dine (um, there were only 3 tables dining at the time we were there). I showed him my receipt of our meals and he said to me “Do you realize that parking is $20 an hour here and this amounts to $60?” I pointed out that we had asked before dining, that our receipt was well in excess of $60 to dine for lunch and that the lot wasn’t even full. He handed me the ticket back and said “You can go.” And when I stood there staring at him because I could not believe how rude he was being..he said again, “Go!” Well, I’m going and I’m ditching my Hilton Honors. What the hell is wrong with Hilton these days?

Did not eat at the restaurant but had the best pina colada of my life at the bar made especially for me by Minnesota Mike! Two thumbs up for above and beyond customer service!

Stayed 3 nights and ate most of our meals here. Dinner dishes and desserts were great. Tasty sandwiches for lunch. Individual breakfast or buffet can be chosen. Service with a smile.
