I've been to this location a few times this month and Wednesday was the worst experience my children and I had. We walked 1 mile after school ended myself and my 3 kids. When we reach there we were told that there only two people working and the takeout is closed. I've been there when there were 2 workers before. My children were so bummed out. So I asked for the manager and the worker seemed scared to even call his name to come to me. He ignored her when she called him. So I proceeded to say Mr. John why would takeout close down? He said " what " and was very rude . After standing there and speaking to a lady about it he agreed. We waited 30 mins and our food looked stepped on when we reached home and we were short a chicken sandwich. Our food looked so old and disrespected. Never experienced this ever and our XL fries were half way. $30 dollars spent down the drain. We did not eat the food afraid he tainted it. If John the manager is working I will not eat there. He shouldn't be called a manager. There is an issue of serving the people he wants in takeout. while we were walking away. A gentleman came up to the window (white male) and was able to be served. John you should be ashamed of yourself and how you handle food and peoples business. You shouldn't be the face of checkers.

Had what was literally the worst experience at any restaurant yet. I’m including screenshots and picture for evidence. I placed an order on the app and went to pick it up, they had construction going on so only the main drive thru was working.I told the lady at the order speaker I’m picking up a mobile order, it took about 5 minutes to get to pickup window because 2 cars were in front. I was then told to park close by and my food would be brought to me.After waiting for over 15 minutes I went to the window to ask what happened to my order, all while others were ordering and getting there food while I’ve had to wait for over 30 minutes at that point. (I took a screenshot before I got my food to show the time difference between when my food was supposed to be ready and when I took the screenshot, screenshot was taken about 7 minutes before I got my food).I asked for a refund because I didn’t have that option through the app and just wanted to leave at that point, but was told my food is almost bagged up, so I waited some more.I got my food and was too annoyed to open my sandwiches on the spot while waiting, but that wasn’t a good idea as the extra charged fries I requested on my burger wasn’t put on the burger(picture included of burger to show that no fries were in the burger).The food was also very mediocre and had me rethinking why I even decided to try some fast food as I usually stay away (I’ll admit, I was craving a milkshake after taking a sugar break).Anyways, use mobile app in this location at your own risk because you can’t cancel through app and you may be stuck waiting over 30 minutes for your food like I did, all while possibly not getting your order done correctly.

this is my first time in my life I have tried Checkers, being from out of the country and all, and until today, late in my life, I had absolutely no idea you could make a hamburger patty that thin, truly amazing. The girls looking after the customers at the walkup window were pleasant indeed,

I wasn't wearing my glasses, had trouble reading the menu, ordered the wrong thing, and then corrected the girl at the window when she read the order back and told me my total. She was patient as she could be, explained my mistake, and offered to start over. Obviously, she's dealt with seniors before. Food was good, price was reasonable... I'm happy.

Okay, the only reason I am writing a review is to bring to light something I experience far too often in the food service industry. I went to three Checkers tonight and after arriving before 1 AM to all three was told they were closed. However, I am not criticizing the establishments hours, I am criticizing the fact that all of the employees I spoke to face to face were high. All of them had blood shot eyes and that 2 of them blew smoke into my face and my car was ridiculous. I understand that marijuana is legal in some forms, however it is disgusting that a restaurant will allow their employees to partake in use of it while on the clock. Different stroke for different folks but do it on your own time! I am extremely disappointed to find that this chain allows this, professionalism standards have seriously declined. And another thing, if I can pull up to the window and notice someone has blood shot eyes when the light is shining from behind them, wow, just embarrassing for this company. Great hiring standards. I will be posting this on the other chains review page on the off chance the company actually notices.

Food is consistent as you would expect from any Checker's. The staff usually is polite and professional. They are not generous with ice in drinks, however. If they just brewed the tea, your ice will be melted before you get back into traffic. Despite stating their weekend hours are until 2 AM, do not show up at 1:30 AM and expect service. They put metal milk-crate things to block the driveways even if the menu board is still lighted and lights are on in the store. Management is slacking.
