China Garden Restaurant

The inside looks like your typical Chinese restaurant. The food was pretty good. I must say my mother and I enjoyed it. We went in for a quick bite after I got a haircut. The general TSO chicken is really good. The wonton soup is delicious, and the pork egg rolls are OK. The Workers are super nice, and friendly. The restaurant was very clean and they seem to be doing a pretty good business. There was a lot of people coming in for takeout. I would definitely order from there again. Their prices are definitely good and even though it was 3:08 PM. They allowed me to order off the lunch menu which ends at 3 o’clock, that was super nice of them.

Vegetarian options: They have a lot of options that are vegetarian.

Parking: Large free parking lot in the shopping center.

The worst food I have had in years. No seasoning whatsoever. The chicken was mush. Hardly any sauce. This was our first experience with your restaurant. First and last. Never again!

They have Hibachi sides sides cooking. Vegie Salads, seafood is available. Price is reasonable.

I'm here on vacation with my family. We ordered the sesame Chicken meal Hunan shrimp meal, Mongolian beef and wonton soup. All the food was delicious. My kids and I all love the sesame chicken and egg rolls. Very fresh and tasty! The wonton soup was fantastic! Best Chinese fast food we've ever had.

Honestly, I’m not sure why this restaurant isn’t a higher score. I know everyone has different experiences but I’ve had nothing but great ones here. My wife and I love it, every time. Tonight was wonton soup, beef and broccoli and bourbon chicken. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Portion size was solid. We both have lunch for tomorrow. We will be back as per usual. Thanks!

What's happened to this place? I called my order in: shrimp toast, small hot and sour soup, and General Tso's chicken combination plate. When I got home I was completely disappointed with the accuracy and then the taste. Issues were with soup which didn't tast close to hot and sour and then the chicken -completely wrong order! Not a combination plate - breaded & fried chicken in a sweet sauce plus side of white rice. I'd never order that! General Tso's is supposed to be hot, and the combination plate comes with eggroll and pork fried rice. Not ever close to what I ordered. Will not go there again! Plenty of other good places - try some of the Thai places further north on McMullen. Don't wast your time or money.

I don't know what has happened to this location, are they new owners or something? Everything we ordered, 2 meals and egg rolls were horrible. We have eaten here for 12 years and never had meals this bad. We ended up throwing everything away. Will NOT be returning.

We ordered the sesame chicken and upgraded to have all white meat. When we sat down to enjoy our take out at home we laughed at trying to find chicken in the pieces of sesame chicken. We would buy from the frozen food section at the grocery store before ever eating at China Garden. Don't waist your time!!

Had pepper steak combination with white rice spring roll and an order of chicken wings, pepper steak and white rice was was hot and fresh and tasted decent, spring roll and chicken wings were reheated in the deep fryer but you could tell they were prepared well in advance the chicken wings were hot but was also dry and old under the batter.Stick to ordering items that can be prepared fresh quickly when ordering here, stay away from anything sweet and sour or that requires a batter, it would probably be prepared in advance to serve quickly, saw what looked like the battered chicken already cooked and sitting under the prep table just sitting there in a box a few meters away from the floor.

Prior owner needs to come back from World Tour and save their necks. Nothing had met my approval since you left...i am very serious. That they need help.

Sad to say, this restaurant must have changed ownership in the last few months. Food quality and taste are horrible, I ordered a few times thinking it was a few bad orders, but I've come to realize it's their new cook's and staff.

Used to eat here all the time, haven’t been in few months and will not be back. It seems there are new owners and things aren’t the same. The portion sizes for the dinners are smaller than before but the same price and the fried rice has zero taste. We always ate here and here only because they didn’t add any additional MSG. Time to find a new Chinese place.
