Great, hot, fresh chicken, but they are way too busy and not organized enough to keep the food flowing properly. I believe that caused the sour attitudes. They also need to remember to keep the work areas clean. Doesn't look very good when customers have to see the master station so covered in flour and chicken blood. What ever happened to soaking the chicken in brine to pull the blood away from the bone? That's how they did it 35 years ago and it was the best tasting chicken around.
The place really needs a deep cleaning. The chicken fryer is caked with grease, so disgusting

Been coming to this location for over 5yrs food is always good, restaurant itself definitely needs renovation and never really had any issue with the crew customer service with the exception of today. I called in the day before and spoke to a woman to ask hours due to Easter and then to see if we needed to pre-order/ call ahead for a larger order? And she said yes, but when we called this morning the girl that answered was very rude saying no we can't do that, I don't know who would tell you that and just nasty and rude about it. She has no customer service skills whatsoever.

John Milazzo is a rude pos and extremely unprofessional. Very surprised to see him in a high position with that type of miserable poor attitude. I would like to file a complaint with the corporate office. But I guess that’s why he works at church’s chicken. Hey John it’s time to retire little buddy

I don't know what happened to this place but the food quality has definitely gone down. We received greasy, awful looking chicken with soupy mashed potatoes because they were out of Cajun rice. The entire meal went in the trash and I wish I didn't live so far from the restaurant otherwise I would have gone back for a refund. It was a total waste of money.

I have been going to this very church's since I was 6. The chicken is always good but the place itself is dirty and the shift manager well let's just say she either doesn't like her job or people much! Won't be going back! That is sad because I have been going there for years!!

The manager is extremely rude. Cussing and bad mouthing me and three other customers in Spanish. She didn't like it when i translated her comments to the other customers and asked me not to return. Only one employee was very exceptional, a larger black gentleman, which I'm afraid I didn't catch his name, but he is a credit to the brand and deserves better. He is the only reason it's still in business, in my opinion.
Very bad service
