Columbia Restaurant Sand Key

Columbia is one of our favorite restaurants. The server was excellent but the kitchen didn't get my wife's order correct. She can have no added salt, which they knew, but they sprinkled her salmon with a spice blend that most likely contained salt. She can taste it quickly and was not 100% happy with her meal. Also, her dessert was burnt on top. Not sure if that's the method of preparation, but it wasn't one of our best encounters at Columbia.

Great place! I couldn't wait to eat The 1905 Salad that i had heard so much about. They make is table side for every table. It was delicious! My husband had the Cuban Sandwich. Of course, I got to taste it. It was so good! I had The Mahi Cubano with mushrooms, onions, peppers and melted cheese. Delicious! Dion was our server. He was super attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful dinner! Our waiter Ben was exceptional, providing great recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed! Definitely a must visit, food was delicious.

A Truly Special Place for Special Occasions The Columbia Restaurant has held a special place in my heart since 1999, when we celebrated our wedding reception here. We've made it a tradition to return every year to celebrate our anniversary, and every visit is just as memorable as the first. The staff is always amazing & welcoming, attentive, and professional. A big thank you to our wonderful waitress and the management team who made our most recent visit just as perfect as ever. By far, this is the best restaurant I have ever been to and the only place I'll ever choose to celebrate such a meaningful day. See you next year, Columbia!

The food service was excellent as always. I always recommend Columbia restaurants Sand Key for good food and atmosphere.

Awesome authentic Spanish cuisine. Had the Paella, bean soup and the Cannelloni (Italian) Just like Yaya and Tito Juan made in Burgos.

Either we chose to dine on a day when all seem to be off or this is how it always is. We were seated outside , as requested. However!!!! The chairs and tables are being hosed down before opening and NOT dried off . Nobody mentions it either so wet pants it is... . Food: other than the tomatoes salad everything else was off how it looked and tasted. Grouper was bland, not well cooked and the accompanying rice dry and unappealing. The Aroz con pollo Valenciana meat was ok but again on the dry side and the rice on the mushy side... be warned that shrimp al ajillo means a small pot full of hot olive oil with some dried garlic flakes in which 5 or 6 small shrimps are poached but the whole thing is super oily and has no flavor at all. The person serving at our table matched the atmosphere - unimpressive. Here's hoping that this was just a one off and other future diners will have a better experience.

The Columbia never disappoints us. Food is always good and our waiter Jorge is the best. We have brought visitors from out of state in the past couple of months and they were very pleased with our he atmosphere and food. A little noisy but otherwise wonderful

Sean our waiter (& Yesenia with 1905 Salad prepatation) both did an Excellent job. Sean was knowledgeable & personable & his service was top notch. THe food was amazing & reasonably priced for what we received, and we ate on the back deck of the Sand Key Clearwater location overlooking the bay. Valet was fast & reasonable. We were given free flan (2) for our first visit to Columbia. (I'm not typically a flan guy, but this flan was superb). Sean helped us with multiple Family pictures overlooking the water from the deck & even suggested locations. Love this place & can't wait to go back! 4-27-2025 AD Matt Leonard - Phoenix

Yes came in for dinner with friends from out of town. We weren't impressed. Before when you went to the Columbia it was a big deal. Not now. 1905 didn't taste like it did before. The Cuban sandwiches, Not. Sorry guys I'm being truthful.

We always have a great time at any Columbia Restaurant. But Eric our waiter was amazing so thoughtful and pleasant.

Very generous portions. Very nice place for Cuban cuisine. Very good flavours. If the restaurant is full the dishes come out a little slowly.
