Last time we were here was three years ago, for Thanksgiving. Phenomenal experience! Food, service, friendly staff, etc. Recently, for breakfast (10:00am, on a Saturday), what a shocking difference1 A lot of empty tables - good? Most service people and manager had relatively heavy Eastern European accents. Accurate communication was questionable. The service was nothing like our previous experience. Our orders, when received, had to be sent back as they were not prepared as ordered....

Super friendly staff.
It was a cool morning in Florida, but felt even colder inside the restaurant.
Food was good, however I was asked if I wanted butter on my rye toast…of course I did. When it came there was next to no butter, I commented on it to our server and she said there was in fact margarine on the roast. Margarine? That shocked me. Anyway, it was a satisfying breakfast.

Used to go there every Saturday. We went this Saturday and realized it was under new ownership. Very strange vibe in there now. The hostess? Owner? Manager? Wes strange, she just stood around while everyone else was running like crazy. Only had grits and toast so you really can’t screw that up. I’m not sure if we will be back. They used to give out mini muffins while you waited but they stopped that.
