This was our second visit to Daily News and they out did themselves...again!!! This is definitely on our list of date night spots. Sam greeted us at the door with much warmth ?. She remembered us which a a big + with us. She gave us her best server, Alen, who was AMAZING!! He was attentive, knew the menu and his descriptions were done with such passion and tastefulness, that we couldn't decide what we really wanted...on pretty much all the courses!! Everything was amazing...again!! Thank you Sam, Alen, and (Tom?) for another wonderful dining experience ???

We have been here before and had a very good experience. This was not true this time. Our wait person was overwhelmed. He seemed to have too many tables and I believe he was also preparing drinks for the table of 6 that arrived after us. Our appetizer came after salad and soup. Dinner entree was good. But then had to wait for our check for approximately 20 minutes after finishing. I think our waiter was making drinks again. Maybe just short of employees this night but it was very disappointing

There was a party next to us that had a dog sitting on the booth side seating next to us. Did not expect this at an indoor restaurant. We should have left. However, stayed due a reference from a friend. Food and service was just okay. For the price, I would not go back here.

We love this restaurant! Last night was our 5th time dining here. Aside from the great food and reasonable prices, this restaurant is charming and beautiful inside. Highly recommend. Side note: one of the few, if not only restaurant that gives you bread, as well as soup or salad to go with your meal.

This restaurant is a pure gem. The menu was carefully selected to serve many tastes. The food was delicious and it was one of the best meals we have ever had. Our server, Tom, was as good as they come. Overall, this restaurant has to to be on your list when in the area.
Not what I expected from a restaurant in Clearwater. Felt more like like a high-end restaurant in LA or NY. The food was very well made and the ambiance was cozy and romantic. I would highly recommend for a date night.

Our first visit and will not be our last. Kudos to the owner for her incredible skill in hiring talented chefs and amazing wait staff. Hands down I had the best EVER gluten free meal. The taste was a party in my mouth and the presentation was a work of visual art. Thank you

We chose Daily News since they had some good write ups and had an open slot for our reservation. Glad we went- had the house salad, delicious creamy soup, rack of lamb and shrimp scampi. All were uniquely tasty, and as a whole dinner was a treat. Service was prompt, but slowed as the restaurant filled with other diners.
From the moment were were greeted at the door until our departure all was exceptional. Our young server was knowledgeable of the menu and provided good service without hovering. The menu has a wide selection and our veal dishes were delicious. I would also say their portions are quite ample. I recommend this hidden jewel for any occasion as well as a simple dinner.

Nice restaurant in Belleair. It was recommended to me by a Bosnian Uber driver in Chicago who said it was very authentic.The thing I enjoyed the most was the genuine care and attention we received from the staff and we didn’t feel rushed.The warm bread was divine but I certainly ate too much as I couldn’t take but a bite of my meal.We ordered the burrata which was okay in my opinion, maybe needed more seasonings and oil / vinegar and the tomatoes were flavorless.My friend got the shrimp and loved it. I had the risotto and short ribs and found to be a bit rich but it was tasty.The thing I’d ask they change is using styrofoam containers for leftovers. And not every person needs a plastic bag. These items are horrible for the environment and the food absorbs the chemicals from the container. I didn’t eat the leftovers because of this. Please research better options (biodegradable or paper) and ditch the plastic bags as they are unnecessary.Otherwise a lovely experience.

This was a first visit for our party of four. I had the Seafood special it consisted of grouper, shrimp and octopus. It was beyond delicious. Server was very knowledgeable and courteous. Great wine list.

I will never go back!! Food was good ,service was absolutely terrible!The waiter had 14 tables and was way overloaded with work! We were there for 3 hrs !! Unacceptable!!

The attention to detail, personalized care, and exquisite food makes Daily News a new favorite - we will definitely be back. Do yourself a favor and try a little of everything including a delightful bottle of wine and an incredible Croatian dessert. Everyone was so hospitable and passionate. ❤️❤️
