EMBARRASSING ! . Eight people, sat in their private dining room, first time there. 3 ordered steaks, all ruined (waiter admitted as much). 20 minutes later the steak that was over cooked was redone and returned. The two that were raw came back 35 minutes later when everybody else was done eating and they brought them out like nothing happened. Tried to make up stories about why instead of just saying, we screwed up....Nothing else taken off the bill, go figure. Just a group of locals looking for a new spot to eat. WILL not be going back. Stick with Island Way or the Sand Pearl. Don't mind spendig on a nice dinner, nice wine, with great staff. Do mind 3 hours for dinner and having to leave not eaten dinner..

Tried Drift, finally! It is amazing! The restaurant is gorgeous, and the outdoor bar sets the “bar” in the Clearwater Beach market for views, drinks, vibe. The drink menu and bar has everything one could want!! We had the focaccia bread and it was incredible! That parm cream dip was unique and stands as one of the best apps I’ve ever tried in the area. The steak burger was very, very good. My wife got the buttermilk chicken sandwich, and wow wow wow. The dessert menu is on point, highly recommend getting the pistachio tiramisu and the chocolate “pot” haha.
And through it all, our server, Robby, was on point, knowledgeable, very personable, and made the experience even better! Highly recommend trying drift. When you get there, ask for Robby’s table.

This was my third time visiting Drift, and once again the food was outstanding. The new lobster mushroom pasta is absolutely delightful. Before my husband and I sat down, I spent a little time at the bar and enjoyed a Cosmo. I’m very specific about my drinks, and I haven’t had a really good one in a while, but that first sip did it for me. Edwin nailed it on the first try! He even shared his secret for the perfect Cosmo and gave great dinner recommendations. Our waitress was also very kind, making the evening even better. Overall, another great experience. We’ll definitely be coming back soon. It’s always nice to see how well they treat their locals!

We are Clearwater locals and had dinner at The Drift for my husband’s birthday. The service, ambiance, food, and drinks were all amazing! We loved having Marina as our server. She gave great recommendations and was very friendly. The Opal Sol is an exquisite hotel. We walked around a bit after dinner to admire the pool and views. We will definitely be back!
