A frequent visitor to Clearwater recommended the original franchise to us. The food is the best we have had on this island! Our first day there we had grouper cheeks and a shrimp Poboy. If you have never had grouper cheeks, you definitely must try! The food was so good. The second day we went back and had the stone clause, jalapeño hush puppies, and the special garlic crab fries. The food was amazing, but the service was just as amazing. We love to sit up at the bar and Katie was with us the first day and Megan was with us the second day.. Love singing at the bar so we can chat with the locals. We’ll definitely be back at our favorite place on the island.

A stroll over to Frenchy's Original seems to be a 1st night ritual whenever we come to town and this evening was great as usual. Sitting right on the outside rail, it's great for people watching and you get some elbow room to enjoy their great food and atmosphere. The beer of the month for October was a $4 Modelo Premier, and my wife went with a $5 draft Michelob Ultra. We both went with the Grouper sandwich, mine the classic and hers the grilled, with a great roll, lettuce and tomato, loving then both. The side of Pineapple slaw was pretty good and our waitress efficient. I was too full for their very good Key Lime Pie.

Horrible service my drink was so bad it was really disgusting. When my food came out it took almost 1 hour, I was expecting it to be good I ordered a burger a classic burger and fries and the tomato in my burger was old and my burger easily fell apart my mother ordered chicken wings which she did not like as well bad service and bad food

Such a cute little place with great food and service. Great seafood and other American meals. The daily specials are great. The whole family loved it and the kids enjoyed the fried Oreos for dessert. We will be back if ever in Clearwater again.

The grouper sandwich was unbelievably fantastic, plus a Labor Day $6 Burger. we always go to the one on the beach when we're there, and the one in Palm Harbor when we're at the causeway would definitely recommend

Mikayla served us and she was spectacular! Very sweet and checked on us often. We had the calamari fried… TO DIE FOR… and we had been to three other places this weekend and gotten calamari . These were the best.
