Fuzzy's Sports Bar & Grill

I just love walking into a recreational environment that has a wall of rules posted on the door.

This bar used to be a happening and lively spot, not without its drawbacks but under the original owner it was definitely a more lax and laid back environment.

After returning to clearwater and stopping here again it is apparent the new owner would rather treat this place as her own personal clubhouse rather than a public business. You walk up to the front door with a plethora of posted rules. Including no drinks or loud music outside, we will circle around to that.

The bartenders are nice and courdial and seem to understand the negative effects the current ownership is projecting on this establishment.

As I sit here at 10pm on a Friday night, after frequenting this place in my youth and recently during day and night shifts I finally met the current owner linda.

She seems more concerned with me casually taking a small puff off my vape indoors rather than the fact that there are only 10 people sitting at the bar and drinking rather than me. Not to mention the crowd of 15 to 20 people drinking their own bottles and blasting base heavy music and blocking the entrance to her bar during what could be prime time hours in the parking lot.

This place has went from a happening Clearwater spot to a micromanaged private club. When you have virtually no clientele on a Friday night in the middle of a dense neighborhood you are clearly doing something wrong.

Would you rather me not vape in your bar or get an additional 50 to 60 dollars to contribute to your floundering sales?

The owner can be brazen and rude, but the staff is generally friendly and quick to serve.

Karaoke bar on Thursdays

Its a ok little bar. Was upset that i could not order food after 10pm which i find is to early to close the kitchen. I like to enjoy some wings or a burger when i am drinking. Other than that its ok

Great local dive bar with great food and awesome service. Linda Sue is awesome as well is Nicole. This place is also active in the motorcycle community, hosting charity poker runs.

First timers at Fuzzy’s. This is the closest bar to our condo and we’ve been wanting to check it out for quite some time. Boy, are we glad we did! We were greeted very warmly by our server, Paige and were served immediately. Paige recommended the wings and although we had eaten previously I had to check them out. Listen, I’m from Northern New York where wings are a way of life. These were SPOT ON! Best wings I’ve had since my time in Buffalo, NY. We washed everything down with ice cold beers. Great little dive bar that made us feel right at home. Paige was awesome! Highly recommended! 🍻

This place is awesome! It’s the best service around paired with cold drinks and a lot of happy people. We’ve never had anything but a great time at Fuzzy’s! Linda, Nicole, and Tim are the best!

Great bar, friendly bartenders, Nicole took great care of us. Took our drink and food orders quickly and stayed on top of everything. Played pool and had a great time.

Wonderful bar. Our day time & after work crowd makes it feel like Cheers. Wings are my favorite.
