Worst dining experience completely unacceptable
This was honestly one of the most upsetting restaurant experiences I’ve ever had, especially as a parent.
I ordered chicken and noodles specifically for my 4year old daughter and clearly stated NO spicy food. What arrived was shocking noodles served with extremely spicy chicken, covered in an excessive amount of black pepper. Kid tried chicken and couldn’t eat it saying is spicy and drinking lot of tea to get read of this taste.
When I politely asked if the chicken could be replaced with something non-spicy so my child could eat, the staff’s reaction was cold and dismissive. Instead of apologizing or trying to help, they said they “don’t have other chicken”, took the entire plate directly from in front of my child, and walked away.
No apology.
No alternative offered.
No concern for the fact that a 4year old was left sitting there hungry. Any restaurant that treats families this way does not deserve customers.
The lack of basic kindness, empathy, and customer service was shocking. Mistakes happen, but how you handle them matters and this was handled terribly. As a parent, this experience was upsetting and disappointing, and I would never return or recommend this place, especially to families with children.
Just to make it clear, I asked for manager and it was told there is no manager, and NO, it was not offered any other dishes instead. And the amount from bill was removed after I said that I’m not going to pay for something that can’t be eaten, or they replace the food or I’m not paying. And this is truth, None of those were offered from your initiative.

We love Green Mint. Our favorites include the Pho, Summer rolls (especially the peanut sauce), Bao buns (pork belly is the best), Bahn Mi, and the heavenly KFC wings. And you can’t go wrong with their tea.

Perfect small sit-down Vietnamese fusion restaurant. Usually has a calm and quiet atmosphere. Food is cooked and served fresh. Service is prompt and employees are attentive. One of my favorite food places in Clearwater!

For a chicken salad bowl after tax about $15 than %18 tip about $17.50. I asked for an extra 2 oz. container of dressing in the past. Today I was told it would be an extra charge! I just can't let this go. If owners can't pay a living wage while they sit in their luxurious homes, they shouldn't run businesses. If owners want customers to subsidize their employees salaries the owner should publish their net worth at or near the location wear tips are asked for!
If I ever do order from Green Mint in the future I'll order sit down. When the food comes I'll ask for a to go box, and check, and I will not be putting a tip. Maybe Chau should cut back at home instead of nit picking his customers.
He should not guilt to go customers into a TIP

Recommended dishes: Beef Pho, Chicken Pho, Grilled Pork, Chicken Teriyaki Bowl, Grilled Pork Bun with Egg Roll
We had our food delivered to my home. We got it and all the food is very cold. The chicken wings where the only thing good but over priced for 6 wings. The teriyaki beef was very chewy and the rice was overcooked, the beef had no sauce. I will not order from this place again. VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER.

Gave the vegetarian pho and tofu buns a try, and I am not disappointed. I was concerned seeing the last review on the veg pho but took a chance, and I am glad. The veggie broth seems to be salt heavy, but a dash of hoisin sauce made it perfect. I’m in love with these buns, they are so good!
Service was friendly. Saw lots of take out orders which also tells me people are happy with this place.

Nice atmosphere, great service but the food was just ok. Ginger salad had no ginger or very little, pork dumpling soup was not good, but the Bubba Shrimp rolls were delicious. Disappointed to pay over $60 buck and not leave happy.

Great food and service! We ordered the sliced beef pho, Vietnamese spring roll, crab Rangoon, spicy edamame and teriyaki beef. Everything was delicious and the server ran circles ensuring we had everything we needed!

Ordered tofu/vegetable pho. I don’t eat meat so wanted to warn any other vegetarians or vegans… this was terrible.
There’s no seasoning, the vegetables weren’t cooked, and the tofu wasn’t fried like they told me on the phone. Very bland.
I don’t recommend this place. I mean guys, please taste the food you’re selling. This was awful.
Ended up tossing all of it..sad to waste food but even the veggies weren’t cooked.
Ended up making peanut butter toast and calling it a night. Very disappointing
