This is in response to Isaac’s review. I am the girlfriend. I am the one that happened to. Yes, it happened two months ago, but that’s how violating someone’s trust resonates long after the incident occurs. The video was never sent to us, and I know I didn’t touch the screen, which means the second and third steps that it takes to tip someone and complete the transaction didn’t happen on your video. Your cashier COMPLETED the transaction. You were told this and you ignored it. I scanned my phone and walked away. I also know I walked away because I have a habit of walking away once I’ve paid when there are people waiting, but I’ve never been stolen from. I support lots of small businesses and vegan restaurants like Pure Kitchen and WeVegan who have never violated my trust the way you and your business have. Feigning being the victim because you got a poor review, turning off your reply feature because you want the last word, or passive-aggressively accusing him or I of owing you “the benefit of the doubt” or some kind of blanketed-trust you have apparently had the luxury of in the past is pure unadulterated audacity. You’ve lost several customers now and gained another (yet earned) bad review.

I visited this bakery and discovered that an unauthorized tip had been added to my card. When I brought it up, the owner did refund the amount quickly, but instead of taking responsibility, she made excuses for the situation and implied it was our fault. She also claimed to have reviewed the video and found no wrongdoing, even though the issue clearly showed up on the receipt.
While I appreciate that the tip refund was processed, the overall response was disappointing and lacked accountability. Customers should always double-check their receipts and charges here.

My daughter who has celiac disease was so thrilled to come in a pick out a delicious looking donut! She also got a huge cinnamon roll and a hot chocolate. The cashier was super friendly and we were very happy that she had a place to get some yummy treats that were safe to eat!

We’ve been going for years since it was over in Clearwater. They’ve stayed pretty consistent. Holiday flavors are where they really shine. Vegan, gluten free, and happy faces. I’ll always support local.
