This was a really nice Valentine's Day for us! We waited (only because we were early for our reservation) at the bar for our table and then enjoyed a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc and warm sourdough bread/herbal oil dip. The Salmon entree was delicious and our Server (Paul) was perfect... didn't miss a thing on all counts. Overall, this was a very nice celebration.

Friendly staff. Outdoor area would have been great, but we were seated beside the live musician which was so loud we had to shout to hear each other :( Blackened fish tacos were rather bland. Wrong order brought to our table. Twice. Bread was fantastic.

Absolutely fantastic! I havenât had this level of exceptional service since prior to COVID. We came here for my birthday dinner and in our party it was my son, my husband and I.
Prior to dinner we enjoyed the amazing happy hour! Then we moved to our table outside and enjoyed sushi and oysters on the half shell, all of which was delicious!
We had Jonas as our server and he was absolutely exceptional! He was so sweet and gave my son a colorful pen since our little guy didnât get crayons with his kids menu (which was a non-issue anyway). Jonas had made the wonderful recommendation of the Hog Fish with the Macadamia Crust, I had initially been eyeing something else on the menu but Iâm thankful I went with his suggestion. My husband had the snapper and he was equally happy!
We had the amazing CrÚme Brûlée which had a perfect top and done just right and we also enjoyed the apple dumpling!
Jonas worked hard to keep us warm with the heaters and was hauling gas tanks and lighting the heaters to keep us and everyone else warm. He worked so hard to make it a wonderful experience, while also working hard to make others experiences equally great. There are not many young people who are willing to âserve,â have an a service heart or go the extra mile today and Jonas is truly the exception. So many could learn from him!
We come from Wisconsin every year and will definitely be making this a priority stop again for exceptional food and service! Thank you for making my birthday special Jonas and Island Way Grill!

The waitress did not know the specials, then the special were items on the menu cooked a bit differently.
Portions were smal
Flavor was OK
Try to fill you with bread and rice or mashed potatoes...
Mahi was a tiny portion
Ships were smal

Tried the Supper Club (early bird) menu for $25. Highlights were the phenomenal service (Amanda) and the Caesar Salad. Surf and Turf and Fishermans platter were pretty good. Dessert was an over baked brownie. (Please quality check before serving.) In the end itâs a great deal and you easily get what you pay for.

We've gone twice now for the Supper Club specials at 5 pm (it tends to be busy with large parties, so it's better to make a reservation) because the happy hour drink deals and the surf and turf steak and shrimp were too wonderful not to experience again before we return northward. Outside dining was enhanced by gracious service from Angie, and Eric, who seems to have the ability to summon dolphins as well as encyclopedic knowledge of food and drink. Filet steaks were a perfect tender medium each time, sourdough bread with olive oil and fresh chopped herbs is a treat in itself, and we really enjoyed the dessert sampler. Lingering at the bar after an amazing meal could become a habit due to the selection. Overall our best fine dining experience in the area.

We enjoyed excellent service, courtesy of Emily, and delicious food at Island Way Grill. The grilled octopus, shortrib special and shrimp and scallop stuffed grouper were the highlights of the meal! Key lime pie, crÚme brûlée and molten chocolate cake capped off a great meal! It's pricey but mostly worth it. My only issue was with the oysters Rockefeller app--hollandaise sauce overwhelmed the parmesan and the oyster itself. I would have liked less sauce, but Emily's professional and friendly service made up for that one hiccup.
The only reason for the ding in atmosphere is the noise level. The dining room area is quite boisterous when at capacity. We would have preferred outdoor seating but it was too cold and the area was closed.
