First off I really wanted to love this place. I came in expecting amazing croissants and pastries. The place is quite cute but the only pastry I found fresh was the toasted cheese and ham. The almond croissant, while delicious , was not freshly baked as the girl at the front told me it was. It was definitely too dry to be made that day. I still liked it but it just wasn’t freshly baked. The guava pastry for me was a big miss! Too much guava jelly and not great flavor. Overall I just wouldn’t come back. Sad to say.

Little french coffee place and bakery serving the BEST almond croissant I ever had 👏🏻 Other than this precious croissant, handhelds with cibatta bread are good, like their latte.

Friendly atmosphere with great food. Quiche was rich and warm, crepe with scrambled eggs was well-seasoned, and the coffee drinks were well-prepared with good beans. Pastries were buttery and not too sweet.

This place is popular! They have a great brunch-lunch rush. I love this spot in Safety Harbor.
They even have gluten-free foods. :)

To call this French is an insult to France!
I don’t understand the positive reviews. Bad even at American standards.
I was born and raised in France, getting my bakery goods in the mornings from bakery down the street.
The ambience was nice and so was service, but that’s where the good things end.
This was a disaster and shameful that it’s called French.
Serving croissants and eclairs and putting French names to menu items does not make something French.
We ordered a turkey omelette with eggs on top, an eclair, a chocolate croissant, a croissant with ham and cheese and tomato and lettuce, and a cream filled beignet.
Let’s start with the bakery goods.
All bakery goods should be made fresh that same morning. The croissants, and pastries all should be flaky and taste fresh.
These were hard as if they were all yesterday‘s leftovers.
The filling on the beignet was obviously a Jell-O pudding mix, and definitely not homemade.
The eclair for some reason had some kind of supposed chantilly cream and raspberry instead of the traditional filling, and both of those fillings were also all store-bought. The eclair was also stale and tasted like it had been in the fridge since yesterday.
The omelette was an absolute joke. If you look at the picture I posted, my index finger was actually taller than the entire omelette which is supposed to be filled with ham and cheese as you can see from the post photo. The ham and cheese were also packaged meat and cheese as you can tell since they all were sliced exactly in the same way and same size and tasted processed, and the cheese wasn’t even melted completely.
The omelette was just incredibly dry and bland.
The croissant suffered from the same disease. It was hard, not flaky, and tasted stale as if it had been made yesterday, and all of the meat and cheese was obviously packaged meat and cheese which tasted processed.
This tastes nothing like anything you would find at any French bakery in France.
In France. Everything is made the same day, and the moment it starts going stale and stops being flaky, is thrown away. This is an absolute insult to French bakeries.
Even if you compare it to other American bakeries and breakfast places, nothing tasted good and for that price, it should.
Definitely avoid this place. I know I will.

Love this bakery. So many great options- love their croissants- so fresh and delicious. If you're thinking about checking it out- stop thinking and go, you won't regret it. Really grateful to have a bakery like this in our area. They have crepes and sandwiches too, haven't tried them yet but no doubt it probably is delicious. Great coffees too ❤️. There are maybe 7 small tables or so inside the bakery and 2-3 out door tables each with 2 chairs or so, very intimate and cute spot- not really a spot for a large group, but I'm sure they can move things around to accomodate if you do have a large group.

Stepping into this quaint French café feels like wandering onto a sun-drenched side street in Paris. The aroma of freshly baked croissants and warm baguettes drifts through the air, wrapping you in a soft, buttery embrace before you’ve even taken your seat. Each pastry in the glass case looks like a tiny piece of edible art glossy, delicate, and impossibly inviting. Ola la la y’all gonna love it 😍
The baristas greet you with an easy warmth, as though they’ve been expecting you all morning. Their lattes are silky and perfectly balanced, ask Kate she knows how to make the perfect one, crowned with foam so smooth it feels almost criminal to disturb it. But disturb it you must, because every sip is a little moment of joy.
And the pastries 🥐 mon Dieu! The croissants are impossibly flaky, the pain au chocolat melts on your tongue, and the éclairs taste like they were piped by someone who whispers to vanilla beans for a living. Even the simplest baguette sandwich becomes a revelation of crisp crust, tender crumb, and thoughtfully paired ingredients. That’s my only go to place when it comes to French delicacy! Try it you won’t be disappointed..

This is such a delightful place to get together with friends or to unwind by yourself for coffee, breakfast or brunch! I found the food delightfully different and left my taste buds dancing for joy! They have a delicious variety of pastries to go along with a coffee or latte! On my first visit I ordered the butternut squash soup which tasted out of this world! They have amazing sandwiches, crepes, and other French inspired creations prepared by Jerome himself!

We love to check out little bakeries on our vacations and stumbled upon Jerome's. I got the pistachio and chocolate croissant and my husband got the elephant ear and another pastry I can't remember the name of.
I don't eat a lot of sweet things and it really has to be worth the calories for me to eat more than 2 bites. Let me tell you... IT'S SO WORTH IT AND I WANT MORE! I took one bite out of the pistachio croissant and I almost danced. My husband started laughing and said he's never seen me react to a pastry like that. He's not kidding OMG! I have added a picture (of course after a few bites).
I have been to many big cities and been very disappointed looking for authentic French pastries.
You MUST go here if you love French pastries. This is the real deal! Chef's kiss!!! Thank you Jerome! I know the hard work that goes in to what you do and the long hours. You are appreciated...a true art.
