So, I went to Joe's Crab Shack for my birthday dinner and was disappointed with not only the service but also the food was less than desirable to look at. The presentation felt rushed and just a sloppy mess. I took the whole meal home and made it better as the attached photos will demonstrate.We love Joe's Crab Shack, but today, they let us down. My wife always asks for extra salt on the rim of her margaritas. The bar tender said that my wife ordered no salt and gave my wife attitude when we asked her to salt the rim. She also seemed annoyed with dealing with our son as well.One star for poor service and poorly presented food.~The Taurian Chef

We ate at Joe’s tonight in honor of our late son who loved crab legs. It’s his birthday and we told Heather, our server, and she could not have been nicer. She treated us with kindness and respect and made our meal so special. Chris and the female manager and the hostess were amazing as well. The food was great of course, but I had to mention these wonderful souls! They made a tough day a little better.

For those wondering about another review on here talking about queen crab being snow crab. That’s wrong. Queen crab are a red meat type of king crab found in a different region than snow crab. 2 different species. Has a different texture and sweetness than snow crab. No scam here, just silly people googling things! Cajun sauce is awesome on the queen crab from Joes!
